The little Regal is an ideal size and a classy air rifle. I love mine, which was bought about the time you made this video. It`s an FAC .22 with a 3-9x33 Leupold rimfire scope. As always, a good video Mat, thanks.

Matt keep up the good work, I really enjoy all your segments just wish they came out on a daily basis. The best on youtube by far (in terms of a reasonable balance of hunting footage, information and good commentary!)

In your other shows you use a simple paper target stand in your reviews, but darn if I can find it anywhere for purchase. Is there a brand name?

Many fields behind but they do have lots of footpaths on them and workers. I know this farm well. I often set up the jackdaws as decoys on the bales next to the calves they work well attracting others in. I think between us we have cleared out the rats :-)

Hi Mat - I use the 1" Birchwood Casey High Viz Shoot N C Shooting Targets for my target shooting/zeroing. I stick 5 (on a 14cm x 14cm piece of cardboard (recycled cereal box) which slides into my metal pellet trap. I arrange the 5 targets like a 5 on the side of a dice. I like the fact I can see each pellet strike which is better than normal paper targets. atb Dave.

Thanks Dave. They certainly beat having to strain to see where pellets are landing. We'll try to feature some of the Shoot N See type targets in the future.

Love the program , but I don't think its an acurrate account of pest control as matt's air gun is Fac rated to 30 lbs . As are other videos on U-tub , & most people I know shoot sub 12 lbs you may as well buy your self a rimfire rifle.

HI, does anyone know the laws on having a legal limit gun in your car? Do you need to prove you are travelling to a range/farm? (in a carry case and unloaded) England. thanks
@jali8987 жыл бұрын
DeannEU in a case and unloaded ...and an adult of course... interesting footnote...i was pulled over for a broken brake light bulb ...no issues until the police saw a gun bag in my passenger seat foot well ...he asked me what was in the bag and I told him it was an air rifle.,...he then asked me to open the case so he could see for himself.. I refused to open the case as I would be breaking the law by having a gun in a public place...I did say I would be happy to be escorted to the closet police station and remove my gun from its case ....I then remembered I had my shotgun certificate in my wallet and he was happy to let me go on my way once I had produced it to him.. Just doing his job ....but not everyone has a shotgun certificate handy and I was being asked to break the law.... Oh and I got away with the bulb 😀

"Ach du lieber, mein freund"! I'm a new subscriber here in the USA. Excellent show & beautiful scenery of British country! I'm just getting into airguns to shoot in my basement, as my shooting range terminated a while ago. My love is shooting blackpowder muzzleloaders, like my. 54 custom made flintlock & my. 58 custom Hawken rifle. They can pack a punch depending on how you load them! Also love .22's & my Ruger single shot 45/70, like a British Farqueharson. Sorry you blokes can't enjoy shooting guns like these in your country. How did you ALL let your government get away with disarming you? Didn't your queen stick up for your God ordained RIGHT to protect yourselves???!!! Keep making your fine videos please. God save the queen, but only God knows for what!

The duck shoot/pellet trap looks sturdy but actually isnt. I bought one of these early last year and found that your pellets after a relitavely short while bend the ducks on their stands, and not only that, the ducks are held on a central spindle with spacers that are made of a rigid plastic. Now, as you can readily imagine, after a few shots, the pellets rebound off the back of the casing and smash the plastic spacers to bits so that the unit no longer functions properly. Indeed, I had to take mine to bits, hammer the ducks straight, and then cut a series of new spacers from some hollow metal tubing I happened to have spare. I did write to the manufacturers for the spare parts explaining the problem, but they never even replied. One to miss folks; unless you have some replacement metal tubing handy.
