Making a mixed bag really adds to the enjoyment of an air rifle hunt, and Andy Watkins is setting his sights on rabbits and magpies. Success with the rabbits provides Andy with fresh bait for his corvid ambush, and the results are spectacular as he picks off scavenging black and white bandits from the cover of a hide.
Mat Manning is on the range testing the Zbroia Hortitsia. This elegant PCP is made in the Ukraine and proves to be a real winner when it comes to value, performance and precision.
Plus we’ve got a roundup from the Game Fair at Ragley Hall with new releases from Air Arms, Brocock, Weihrauch and Scott Country.

John darling was a legend! He was my hero growing up with air rifles. The shots he made with that old hw 80 was remarkable.

Thanks for another good show. I like the look and ability of the Zbroia rifle but pellpax don't sell a left handed version. It is often the case that we left handlers miss out on some otherwise great kit.
@ZbroiaUa
@ZbroiaUa 6 жыл бұрын
We (ZBROIA Company) don`t produce a left handed versions of our rifles at that moment. But if there will be a demand, we could do that (the wood stock just can be mirrored in the opposite side in Hortitsia model). So if necessary, just ask Pellpax about that.

Great show , and super shooting by young Andy .. I really like that zabrioya horticulturia rifle .. looks gorgeous , shoots brilliant , and as cheap as a Wolverhampton hooker with a sale on ... only thing that disappointed me was Andy's beard .. its a bit scraggy , just like my mrs's ... Super vid ... excellent entertainment

I have just found The Airgun Show and I love it. I am from the south central part of the US Oklahoma and Texas to be exact. I am pleasantly surprised at the number of guns and shooters I see in England. I was under the impression that guns and hunting were nearly extinct in the UK. I have several questions to ask about your hunting opportunities. I notice the small game hunting that you have, do you also have larger game such as deer and hogs? Is it very expensive to hunt there or is there some public hunting? I'm sorry to sound so ignorant about your hunting laws etc, I have just been under a false understanding for a long time. Glad to see that the shooting sports are alive and well. Great videos as well. I get to deer hunt here, but my heart is in squirrel and rabbit hunting as well. I appreciate any answers you can give me.

Skydiver Diver Most land is privately owned so most people have to try and gain a permission from a farmer unless they own the land themselves. Most shooting is small pest control like rats, rabbits, grey squirrel, pigeon etc. Foxes are probably the biggest animal which are common. There is some deer. Most common calibre are .177 and .22 air rifle and .22LR and .17 HMR. Other bigger calibre are used. Hand guns were basically banned in the late 1990's

Deer mostly in Scotland, hogs in England & Wales, pheasant shooting is quite common, shotguns obviously.

Patrick Smith Andy has shown great success in stalking with anything. I've seen scopes with white and yellow stickers/tags, reflective sun glasses, no gloves or face masks and he still gets within 40 mtrs of the target.
