I’m listening 2:02 am 1/17/2021. We need John Wayne now. Right now, I’d settle for a good strong mule.

It's too bad that Hollywood doesn't make movies that impart moral values anymore. We've gone from John Wayne in the Alamo to Desperate Housewives and Dancing With the Stars, damn.

The thing is Hollywood was always Red there was just a time where the commies were frightened enough that Normal Americans could make good movies for other Americans now the commies are free to destroy everything with their propaganda

Whenever I hear the word ‘Alamo’ I think freedom. Its memory and the sacrifice its defenders made is like a beacon of light shining across the whole free world. John Wayne did a superb job in expressing that feeling in this superb motion picture.

And when I hear the word "freedom" I think... What?

I also think about how all of the Alamo defenders did not agree on what Texas is or should become, but they chose to fight side by side as if they were a family. To me that is why I love the Alamo so much. I think it sums up how people should be and live. You do not have to necessarily agree with your neighbor, but you should work with them to achieve a better future or outcome for all. Also, I thought you typed "bacon" instead of "beacon". LOL

Did you know that during the actual siege of the Alamo their weren't just Texans and tennesseans there were many from the United States and European countries too!

The were all freemasons at the Alamo. Ever been there? There a plaque on the wall of the Old Alamo stressing that. John Wayne was a freemason when he funded this picture in 1960 but later renounced that evil cult and converted to the Catholic faith.

Yack, yack, yack, yack, yack, yack, … For over 2 hours this film goes on and on and on, sermonizing and pontificating ad nauseam. Only in the last half hour is there any action to speak of, and most of it is historically inaccurate. Wayne’s earlier work was MUCH better; see The Searchers or The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance if you want to see a really good John Wayne movie.
