First song I heard of this album besides day n nite was Sky Might Fall….best song off the album. This album is still near and dear to my life when I have my down moments, all hip hop at that time was glory rap. IMO this was the OG Emo rap

This came out when I was in high school. My wife and I listened to it obsessively. Now I listen to it as I give our son a bath. I love it on such a personal level

I remember when I was 9 when I first knew about Kid Cudi seeing him on BET on 106&Park. It felt he came out of nowhere. When I heard Day n Nite, that shit sounded so new and fresh that it made me wanted to listen to the album at that age. I didn't understand it until 5 years later, when I was 14 and I gave Cudi's discog another shot and it hit me hard. This and MOTM2 got me through some of the hardest times in High School and now. I'll always love Kid Cudi for sticking to be a leader for kids who felt like they were outcasts. 🙏🏾❤️🔥

Man I knew a few tracks from this album like Pursuit Of Happiness, Soundtrack 2 My Life, and Day 'N' Nite. The album definitely changed the game fasho not gonna lie. I’ll have to check out his “A Kid Named Cudi” mixtape.
