@@TheDustyTome Fantastic! I'm a huge fan of horror!! Now that I'm older and mature, I appreciate reading much more than I ever have before. In my younger years, I would only watch movies/shows and only read mags/comix, nowadays, I have a literal ocean of printed material, converted to audio, to choose from. I have grown fond of the early 20th century, cosmic horror authors, especially the "giants" who have written material for the Cthulu Mythos like Bierce, Long, Bloch, Derleth, Smith and Lovecraft. I listen or read almost every night, I can't get enough of these stories...also, no one seems to write stories like these anymore. Writing styles are totally different same with the way they tell their stories.

Does thou produce all thy music for these fantastic readings as well???
@TheDustyTome6 ай бұрын
No, I do some here and there when I can’t find something I really need, but there are a few music libraries I tap into for most of it. It takes so much time to do these as it is, it would add another week or two to each release. Plus, one of my main focuses here is voice over practice, trying to stay immersed in working the voice!! Lol.

like no. 50, I love that you put up a dictionary and other facts in the video. But I find the music too loud and distracting. Maybe just a soft, dark hum or rain, would fit better.

Glad you liked it! I always go back and forth with the music, it’s a tough line to walk. I try to lean a little more into audio drama, more than just providing background sound to thicken it up, but in the end it’s artistic choice that’s never easy to make! Great feedback, thank you, I will definitely keep it in mind. 😬👍💕

YOU FOOL, that was pretty good for a teenager.

HEY! I’m not a fool, OR a teenager! Well, I’m definitely not a teenager anyway… ROFL. Seriously though, yeah, Lovecraft was apparently already whipping it at 17. I really hope he was working with a thesaurus. It’s hard to accept that a teenager might slap my half a century vocabulary that profoundly. 😹😹😹. In our defense, THEY didn’t have Atari…
