The fact that all of this is mixed so well and well orchistrated is absolutely amazing. If you don't like it that is fine, but everyone has different ideas and concepts of what music is or should be. This deserves a grammy in my opinion. If you listen to the 1st album you constantly find yourself asking "how the fuck did they come up with this shit!" Mind Blown!!! Hats off guys

Yeah thats pretty much it - when we gig, all the acoustic drums get muted, and i just play with a click to keep up.. its really cool as it makes it backwards from the record versions, where the kit samples are kinda 1 step in front of the electric kit sounds - but live, the electric stuff reinforces the acoustic side! Definitely gonna be getting a Yamaha DTX Multi 12 soon and messing with some devoted samplepads and maybe a tiny bit of creative triggering as well!

I play in a band where both guitarists play with 7-/8-String and I have no problem at all with a guitarist choosing to play it under the condition they do so with integrity and creativity, but there's undeniably a large mass of 8-stringers that only really use the lowest string to an extremely exhausting extent while people presume the same level of intensity in the arrangement couldn't be achieved without explicitely using an 8-string.

Still don't quite know what I feel about this video. I mean, come on. He is barely touching knobs on a teeny tiny midi controller with pads he doesn't even use. (Dare I say it looks as if he's on drugs trying to figure out how to lift a teacup without spilling the tea.) Occasionally, he looks up and makes a weird face as if he's being really fucking serious, when there's nothing serious going on except for the music. And there's a real drummer, when obviously the same drum samples are repeated on the track. Apart from the special effects and the flashing of different camera clips, this is so anti-climax I wouldn't even bother to figure out how to put it on a scale. The track however is absolutely gold. Almost preferred the prerelease version, but the official version has even more of the good stuff.
