The debris field was 200 feet wide and 3/4 of a mile long, and oriented in one long axis. No experimental balloon could generate that much metallic debris over that large an amount of real estate. Also, a balloon would have crash landed straight down, and not disintegrated over 3/4 of a mile in one particular heading. One wonders how many hundreds of photos the Air Force took of the interior and exterior of the craft, of the alien bodies, and of debris. You do not have to rely on written reports or the memories of eye witnesses. Just dig up the photos. The is very little discussion as to what caused two alien craft to crash. It's a shame that the U.S. military and intelligence agencies continuously lie to American citizens on every topic, as an instinctual reflex and a deep, deep habit.

Yes, but a 'debris field' does not mean that the measured area you describe has to be absolutely 'covered' in debris. There can be just 5 pieces spread out over that area to count as a debris field. It's like when aeroplanes explode and fall to the ground. Most wreckage might come down in an area of a half mile radius. But it doesn't need to cover it completely, and if a couple of bits of plane fall down 2 miles away from the main wreckage - that 'extends' the 'debris field' considerably. The Lockerbie bombing is an example of this. Many pieces fell on the actual town of Lockerbie itself, but there were pieces picked up miles away near a place I used to visit - thus, the 'debris field' was much larger than the town itself. The other thing concerning this (most likely) balloon debris field was that part of the object was made of a very thin foil, which means it could be easily blown about by the wind. We don't know how long it was before the rancher found it or the weather conditions at that time. Deserts are pretty windy places through lack of trees. A partially deflated balloon will bounce along the ground for a while and, as there's plenty of thorny desert plants about, they could do a pretty good job of tearing the balloon chassis and then the balloon itself apart. Just because an army representative didn't know the exact composition of this foil, it doesn't make it 'not of this earth.' I'm certain that there are a lot of things various armed services personnel have never seen before. Putting on a uniform doesn't instantly make them an expert on everything. Also, there were reportedly pieces of a balsa wood frame mixed with the foil. Apart from the glaringly obvious fact that it's highly unlikely Balsa is an intergalactic tree species capable of withstanding travel at warp speed over trillions of miles through outer space... this wood is so light it can be picked up by a breeze and tumbled over a distance, just like a piece of polystyrene in fact. Its lightness makes it popular with those who make kites and instrument-carrying balloons.

The military's initial story to the newspapers specifically mentioned "alien craft", despite not wanting to appear to be crazy, and not wanting to ruin their own military careers. No sober, sane adult could possibly mistake a downed balloon with a crashed alien craft, or with any type of crashed human craft. Would you? Of course not.

@@debbiehenri345 I like you field of view on the event.But it was never a Alien craft in the first place.But it was a flying craft very similar to the F117 stealth aircraft.With a bit of modification the Roswell craft becomes the F117Stealth craft.I have the Roswell craft in my collection of models.The craft was experimental out on a test flight then got into trouble and crashed on the foster ranch.There was 3 events that day that was involved.30 years of research that i have done on and off from my day job in the aerospace industry with over 8 technical data books done on Roswell crash 1947.I have many Scientist and Engineer friends of mine who have helped me in the data collection including my scientist wife.And we have come near to the conclusion what crashed on the foster ranch in 1947.About 80 percent with 20 percent unknown.Much better than, than the Air Force book for which i have copies of.

Stanton Friedman was the initial civilian investigator of Roswell. He interviewed key witnesses who were involved. It's disappointing that Stanton Friedman is not part of the documentary series.

He is from my city and unfortunately died last year. There is a great 3 part series on Roswell on amazon prime where they interview dozens of family members or people that were there. Either the crash was real, or more than 200 people are lying, many of which tell the same stories about the military threatening their lives. In the amazon series, one person claims that Jesse had a piece of the ship and was just about to show it to him when someone came. The person went on leave for work and when he returned Jesse had just died.

Tyson, a guy in a field literally famous for creating theories on top of assumptions is the one saying " all this new technology and still we have no real evidence that would convince anyone"....Meanwhile , the head of the CIA , the person you would be sure is going to say there, is no "there ,,,there"...is saying without question these things are real , and we have no evidence that they are an adversary ! To be honest , I would not only argue the US knows, but they know the tech is so good it is no longer possible to argue. What is mind boggling is Tyson's attitude. The guy who was in charge of the UK investigating ( you know who I mean , he is always on) continues to work on UFO's as a career when he leaves. The guy the US put in charge of project Bluebook that debunked cases, became convinced that UFO's are real, Then we have the previous head of Attip , who literally has said everything but, " there is no mystery, we know".....Ellonzo ( I think ) just stated on a podcast that the 3 now famous video's are at the far end of least good evidence....he stated, we have video from 50 feet away, and I left to get them to tell the truth, and I will continue to work on doing it without breaking mt oath. One of the doc he is in on Unexplained shows him and Tom Delong going to Italy to share knowledge and they gave him all the cases on file...13000, including a video showing a UFO that purposely disabled a military helicopter without destroying it. I am convinced Tyson is paid to be a skeptic......him saying no evidence is like me saying I do not believe in ghosts, and having stuff start levitating while I argue there are perfectly good explanations......He knows better

@@jamaljewell425 Did you see the story or documentary where strange fires were starting in a place in Italy for a few months. On one show like weird or what, I saw just the story alone. When Ellonzo who use to head US attip traveled to Italy for a joint share of knowledge, they said that the fires were being started by a UFO and they thought they were trying technology on the area and that was the reason for bizarre fires. But that is not the best part, they had good video of a military helicopter engaging the UFO, and you can see the two crafts clear as day, and the UFO damaged the helicopter back rotor to force it down, they show the damage.That is one hell of a whole of evidence in my book, and I guess nothing in Tyson's LOL I am not saying there are no ghosts, or there is. I meant as you know that Tyson says things like " we have better tech and I would expect to see better video" , and that is exactly what is happening. What I meant to imply to say it better was Tyson acts like someone that says prove to me their are ghosts, you show him endless video's of things lifting in the air on their own, you show him the US gov't claiming that they actually do have a multi-million dollar program, they actually now tell you that those things that pull more G-force than a human can with stand, they now admit there is no evidence of a foreign adversary, and that most all other nations are documenting and having the same encounters.......And he looks right at you and says " Ok , bit show me some real evidence. Russia and Italy have both reported having aircraft disabled or destroyed when they either locked on or chased UFO's..... If Tyson's bar is we need to capture something to prove it, that is a hard bar for anyone nut the military, and thousands of US military have made claims.....Does he believe all the pictures, stories by people on the inside, evidence on the ground, and admission by the US Gov't is not real evidence.....and he works in a field of theoretical science where his colleagues have drawn conclusions on circumstantial evidence for decades...LMAO

Roswell is by no means an isolated event. If you spend time living in Arizona and New Mexico you have excellent night sky visibility. There are wide open areas in the country. There is no or little light pollution for great extents in that countryside. Very often there is little or no cloud cover. You can see lights travelling about at great elevations. They can move in high speed leg segments, come to a halt immediately and change direction also immediately. If you have had college level physics or university level engineering education the forces involved in such changed in direction at high speed are not the kind of maneuvers we can produce with jets or rockets. The F-16 jet fighter is controlled by electrical actuators to the aelerons. The joystick in these jets is very sensitive in producing directional changes very quickly. Before modifications were made to improve safe operation a rookie pilot could make such rapid changes that would break the necks of the rookie pilot and if so equipped the trainer. There are limits to what a human can safely endure as well as the craft itself. Those lights you see in the dark sky, no matter who made them, have very special capabilities unknown to normal educational lessons taught today.

@4:16 That is a real picture of a dead alien at the ranch according to my friend who was there as an MP in the 509th, and the ship was there also, because he was posted to guard it during the cleanup, which he also did and described the debris to me.. He told me about the crash site in 1992. He said one had burns on its left cheek and down to its chest, all bubbly. When I saw this picture on Google 12 years later, it was exactly what he described in more detail. He said they had uniforms on. His Sargeant, Wild Bill told them it was a Hollywood sci-fi prop plane that crashed, and movie producers had asked the army to help them clean it up.

Alex Aquarius...That's certainly a real PAINTING of the dead alien "autopsy" figure displayed at the UFO Museum in Roswell. So your friend was probably in his mid-60s or so when he told you this tale in 1992, and you were about 28 then. Kind of an old guy for you to be friends with at that age, but whatever. I bet he and the other guys on the cleanup detail thought it was very weird that they didn't recover an engine or pieces of wings or any other identifiable plane parts from this "sci-fi prop plane" wreckage. And that the debris field was strewn over about a 3/4 mile area. And that the bodies of the pilot and crew didn't look at all human. I mean, Sgt. Wild Bill could've come up with a better BS story than that, for goodness sake!

The assistant at the Roswell funeral home was the owner. His father assisted him having given over the business. He also gave a clear account of his actions as the only ambulance opperater having under Army contract returned an injured soldier who sat in the front seat for comfort. He had an appropriate pass and parked as usual. He saw into two army ambulances that each carried portions of a the curved front of a canoe. Apparently broken. He was asked for sealed coffins as the odour of two bodies was overwhelming.

Some major errors in this episode about Roswell. Friedmann came forward in '78/'79 with Roswell material (not 1973) after accidentally (was at a radio interview or lecture at university I believe) came into contact with a HAM-radio buddy of Jesse Marcel Sr. After he phoned Marcel and he give his interview, he tracked down hundreds of (first and second hand) witnesses well into the 90' who all said the same story about a crash disk, alien remains and the subsequent cover up by the military. The witness testimony was further fleshed out by other researchers such as Don Schmidtt, Moore and Berlitz. Once you you take in all the evidence, it is hard to believe something other than a exotic spacecraft had crash landed in Roswell..

A large number of the Alien crafts that first arrived here had serious control problems operating in high powered RF energy fields such as were created when we used our 5kw, 10kw and 20kw HF Radio transmitter/amplifier combos that we were using for Worldwide (trans-Atlantic/Pacific) voice communications at the time. It took the little Bug-eyes 2 or 3 years to get them all shielded well enough to be truly immune to high powered RF fields. We dropped a BUTT-LOAD of those things in the dirt the first 2 years or so. And they came down FAST and HARD. "Ouch" said the little aliens as their arms and legs snapped when they slammed into the ground.

I hear what these guys are saying but why tell the public it was a flying saucer rather than a big weather balloon, they could have claimed it was a big roll of foil than fell out a cargo plane. It's inconceivable that the base wouldn't have known about it, since it was flying in their air space! The witness testimony also states that the sections of small 'I' beams had Hyroglyphs on them. There's absolutely no reason to put those on a US balloon! Also, the debris field was huge, and the craft was found after it had skipped. A balloon is a lighter than air vehicle. There's no way it would leave a huge debris field.

It's interesting to hear that Mack Brazel found debris on "his" ranch while it was actually on the J.B. Foster ranch. If this is incorrect, how are we to believe anything else in this video? I interviewed Walter Haut at the UFO musium about 6 months before he passed away. He was actually sick of the whole UFO thing. We talked the afternoon away disussing margaritas, great food and other fun things. Near the end of the afternoon (we were there about 3 hours), he said that it was a delight speaking with me, my wife and our son. In the area called the plains of Saint augustin today you will find the Very Large Array. From Interstate 25 in New Mexico take US highway 60 west toward Arizona. The area near Datil Wells has some history. Indian petroglyphs are nearby. After the initial Roswell events there is a story about two classrooms of students and their professors. They had seen military police in 1947 loading a saucer onto a flat bed truck. Held at gun point they were told they would be well advised to not speak about what they saw that day. Under threat to themselves and their families they evidently remained silent but may be not completely silent or forever. Eventually word leaked out decades later. A social studies program was created to search for the now aged students who survived to maybe the late 1980s or early 1990s. I don't remember that exactly. When they were interviewed the stories they told the researchers were essentially the same details. A saucer craft. Mostly intact. A large hole. Some very strange bodies not like homo sapiens. White hat military police. And years of remaining silent about what they saw getting loaded that day onto trucks. That day the logs of what the MPs at what is White Sands Proving Grounds were doing is missing. Hmmm.
