As a Springbok fan I'd say our toughest fixture is against the All Blacks. In 99 test matches we've only won 36 times. It's a fixture we always look forward to because of the intense rivalry but it's also the most nerve-wrecking to watch.

As an All Blacks fan, I totally understand. Nothing like NZ and SA test matches. Such a hard battle on the field and no matter what, there's a genuine and deep respect afterwards towards each other. It's everything to love about rugby.

As an old Cornishman, I have always preferred watching Springbok vs All Blacks matches. Even the rare 'not so good ones' are still above anything I'd watch in U.K. It was great, for me, to watch the Springboks do a job on the English, and win the last RWC.
