The Hyundai Tucson is already a head-turner in the world of compact SUVs. And for the 2024 model year, it will not only make heads turn, but it will leave people talking. All this comes from the stylish wardrobe that is wrapped around an upscale but practical cabin. Even though there is a hybrid model, the non-hybrid version of the 2024 Tucson is pretty amazing. The 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine does an excellent job of delivering some great power.
Even though the Tucson will not satisfy some driving enthusiasts looking for exceptional handling and thrilling acceleration, it will deliver a plush ride and composed demeanor that most SUV buyers find appealing. It all starts with the entry-level models, which offer a high-value package with more than just the basics as standard. The luxury keeps on increasing, with most of it being found on the Tucson’s SEL and Limited trims. Both of these trims give the owner a premium feel without the usual added price that goes with it. And when you compare it with competition like the Honda CR-V, the Toyota RAV4, and the Volkswagen Tiguan, there are some features that are not in these that come with the 2024 Hyundai Tucson. This gives Hyundai the upper hand, as the Tucson becomes a more natural choice if you’re after something in this class with a premium vibe.

For starters, the 2024 Tucson will come with new safety features, such as all-occupant seatbelt reminders, rear side airbags, and steering-wheel haptic feedback to alert the driver to warnings from the lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring systems. In addition, Hampton Gray will now come in all trims, and the XRT model will come with a black headliner. The hybrid and plug-in hybrid models of the 2024 Tucson will be more powerful. Both versions will have a turbocharged 1.6-liter, four-cylinder gas engine and an electric motor.
The 2024 Hyundai Tucson's pep is still a great thing to have at every stop light and highway on-ramp, even though it doesn't have the same power as the Toyota RAV4, which has 302 horsepower.

Hyundai has given the 2024 Tucson some dramatic angles and creases along the sides, which was a well-calculated risk. And now, the Tucson has an exterior that is pretty striking enough for two points. In addition, it will definitely give its competitors a great run for their money.

We bought a 2024 in September. It is our first SUV. We did a lot of research and test drove many different brands. We liked several brands, but when comparing what you get for the money, the Tucson won big time. We bought the SEL model with FWD. We did not think that paying $2500 more for the convenience package was worth the money for us since the main features were a moon roof and an upgrade to 19 inch wheels. 17 inch wheels are a lot cheaper to replace than 19 and moon roofs over time tend to leak. We also went with the FWD over the AWD. The FWD model gets 3 miles per gallon better mileage than the AWD. The AWD also adds $1500 to the cost of the vehicle. For most people the AWD will rarely ever kick in or be needed. We live in Wisconsin and know how to drive in the snow so FWD will be sufficient.😊

Thanks, for the info, because I’m in the market and this is one I was considering…never owned a Hyundai!!! I’ve been looking at the Mazda CX 5, as well! The leg room in the back does not seem so good…how is it in this suv? I currently have an escape!

@@nattywho We also test drove the Mazda CX-5. It is a really nice vehicle with a very proven engine. It is smaller than the Tucson with very little leg room in the back seat and not nearly as much cargo space. The Mazda would be a good 2 person vehicle. The Tucson has good leg room both front and back. We have 3 grown kids that fit in the back seat when we go somewhere as a family.

I’ve bought the Tucson 2024, instead of Mazda CX-5, only because of the price. With the Kuro Mazda’s trim I had a better Hyunday regard to the features, although I know Mazda is a better car. But I still dont know if I did the best choice.

This is Disappointing!! I’d hoped after nailing it with the perfect dash/screen integration Hyundai would keep it! I’ve purchased the new Hyundai Tucson because the dash/screen integration is the best I’ve seen in a modern car…, way ahead of its competitors which have a clumsy screen stuck on top of dash! This new design reverts backwards, the new dash is so bad it looks tacky and cheap!! If Hyundai continue this look, I’ll be changing to a different car next year! The bubble effect was bad enough but this dash is terrible! After all we sit in it!! However, the plus is the cam recording facility, sadly the dash is so dated!!
