For years now, the market for compact SUVs and crossovers has been getting more and more crowded. Because of this, automakers have to come up with cars that will stand out among the rest. Suzuki, which is one of the pioneers and protagonists of the SUV segment, has remained one of the undisputed points of reference in the category. The automaker has been in this segment since 1988, and to date, it still reaffirms its ability to intercept the needs of the public. With this, the automaker has introduced a new trim level for the Vitara Hybrid and S-Cross Hybrid, which is the YORU version.
This special edition car is characterized by a combination of unique colors, which are mostly inspired by the colors of the night, and exclusive details. It comes with superior standard equipment that has been rigorously equipped as per the brand’s DNA with 4x4 AllGrip technology.
On the other hand, the S-Cross hybrid YORU intersperses the night sky, which is represented by Capri Blue metallic paint, with contrasting elements such as mirror caps and silver front and rear skid plates. This is quite the design, and it does make it look like a premium car.
When it comes to the styling, the 2024 S-Cross hybrid YORU special edition has not been given as many black details as its sibling, the Vitara hybrid YORU. However, it does add a touch of refined elegance and robustness. This has been achieved by adding some silver finishing to some parts of the exterior, such as the mirror caps, the front, and rear skid plates.
The powertrain is equally amazing, offering lively performance and great efficiency. This has been brought about by the 1.4 Boosterjet engine. The S-Cross hybrid YORU special edition trim will share this engine with the Vitara hybrid YORU. The 1.4 Boosterjet engine has been coupled with the 48-volt hybrid module. All this power is transmitted to a 10 kW electric motor, which in turn moves the car.
Suzuki has been known to prioritize safety in its hybrid SUVs, and the Vitara hybrid YORU and S-Cross hybrid YORU are no exception. On both models, you will find some advanced assisted driving and safety systems, all of which are meant to keep everyone safe and enhance the driving experience. Some of these features include lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, drowsy monitoring, road sign recognition, blind spot monitoring, and adaptive cruise control.
The S-Cross hybrid YORU will be quite an affordable car. The special edition Vitara hybrid YORU, which will be released at the same time as the S-Cross hybrid YORU, will be priced at €31,990. As for the S-Cross hybrid YORU, it will be priced at €33,990. During the initial launch phase, Suzuki announced that they will be offering a customer advantage of €2,500, which will bring the prices down to about €29,490 for the Vitara YORU and €31,490 for the S-Cross hybrid YORU.
The 2024 Suzuki S-Cross hybrid YORU is a new trim level that combines the efficiency of hybrid technology with Suzuki’s renowned SUV capabilities.
