I remember when this aircraft went into production. I have seen it grow over the years. This airframe rocks! And it has a great record with no losses. Sure, it may be an older design, but it will go down in history along with the A-10 and F-16. One plane I wished the U.S. hadn't dropped was the F-14 Tomcat.

I’ve got a lot of respect for the F-15. It is a bad boy! I’ve got a retired USAF pilot buddy that mentioned an excercise in Alaska. If I remember correctly he said there were 6 F-15’s vs the F-22, not sure exactly which versions etc. in any case, the raptor smoked them all which is quite a feat given the F-15’s record. Beautiful plane!!

@@DjAboo1 yeah it was the f-15s that kicked the crap out of us at Red Flag exercise I was part of an F-16 weapons crew who went for the exercise period for those who don't know red flag is like Top Gun for the Air Force. Play Farewell against everybody else but the f-15s beat the crap out of us it was reported that that 15s came from high above using the Sun undefeated the f-16s. That was 1987 in the old block f-15s in the old block at f-16s you know today The Radars have been all upgraded on both those aircraft 6th generation radars and capabilities except for stealth so the new f-15s are quite a different aircraft.

The USAF F-15EX benefits from a decade or so of major upgrades funded by FMS customers such as Saudi Arabia. The conversion of the F-15 from manual to digital flight controls was a massive undertaking that greatly modernizes the aircraft, reduces pilot workload and enables the installation of a state of the art cockpit. Although the outer mold line has not significantly changed, the F-15 EX is a significant improvement on prior F-15 versions.

The channel is called NavyPower, the F15EX is not a naval plane. It’s a missile carrying upgrade to work closely with the stealthy fighter bombers including the B21s. The # of air to sir missiles it can carry is up to 20/22 now. It’s a flexible aircraft that McDonald Douglas has improved over the past 50 years. Since Obama stopped F22 production well below plans it’s a good solution to a problem. Not enough fighters. F35 is more strike/bomber assets than pure fighters. The AF also had its 6th generation fighter stopped by Biden’s administration. Currently only the Naval version is still under development. The AF is looking into using the B21 as an air superiority aircraft also, believe it or not. Or we are about to introduce antigravity fighters from our UFO collection. 😊

They did. It's called the F-15SE Sillent Eagle. The F-15's shape isn't the best for stealth. It turned out to be too expensive, no too stealthy, and because they had to add inner bays for weapons, it didn't leave enough room for them. Great idea and concept, but it just wasn't worth it.

The ordnance loadout of this beast is extraordinary, compared to the F35/F22 stealthy younger brothers. The F15 will become a "Missile Truck" that stays back from the F35s, and with its upgraded computer links allowing instant communication between the two as well. Given the missile loadout of the F15EX, the F35 can lock on, and the F15 can launch and destroy. Against lesser enemy combatants that don't have the stealth or capability to engage the F35s, then the F15 is quite capable (obviously, right?) of engaging and destroying anything perhaps short of the SU 57 or China's J20. (That's arguable too!)

What this video doesn't address is the fact that Air Superiority/Dominance is usually attained before the A10 does its thing; the destruction of tanks, artillery, troops, etc. . Any ground attack plane won't have the armor to survive like the A10 does. Calling the wing design inadequate is rather disingenuous. It's literally its design that makes it the most deadly ground attack plane ever created.

The F-15 ex is the only aircraft with 23 hard point on 4 pylons. It is the only plane the fills the gap between fighters and bombers. It has higher speeds and new strentheen keel to withstand the high GeForce when fully loaded. It also makes it stronger to be used on all aircraft carriers. Enemy pilots fear this aircraft. With new long range weapons it can now go up against enemy 5th generation aircraft.

No matter what system that is used it's crucially important not the count on satellite assistance. The first thing to go in a war is satellites which is quite easily established since there is so many up there you shoot two or three of them and it creates enough trash that the other satellites hit. It's important to establish ground Communications without satellites and equipment that don't count on satellite only to complete its mission

The F-15 kill ratio is impressive...but there is a nuance and that is the opposition pilots. The simple kill ratio is impressive. But does that kill ratio stay the same if our pilots fight against Russian pilots? hopefully we will never know. But in the meant time the F-15 EX is a great answer to meet the AF's storage of fighters.

It is sad that the A-10 has to go since apparently the USAF will never gain air superiority in a near peer engagement. I guess the F-35 is far superior the A-10 in the close ground support role. Let’s be honest, the A-10 is still the king of close support role once F-22 and F-15 EX clear the sky’s and ground of enemy aircraft and SAMs. Let’s keep the A-10 in its ground support role. Also the United States needs to create a protection Dome which entails a lot of different equipment but primarily radar systems that can look down shoot down on its own accord as well as with satellite Communications. Power stations must be established all the way up and down the coast both on the Pacific and Atlantic because the new weapon systems and radar systems use Electric we have seen China has built mass of swarms of drones and I mean massive amounts our new systems have to be able to shoot down he's very small drones as well as incoming supersonic missiles and aircraft spell a small ships if you can imagine our coastlines would look like bunkers like in World War II Germany had they work together as a system what can work on their own. Currently a lot of power stations are along the coastline already but additional power stations must be added along with huge storage batteries lastly you have ground to are missiles has a last resort as they are very expensive and take time to restock supplies of these takes too much time during war. Also the availability of diesel and fuel must be used towards the war effort so we must have ample amounts of fuel all around the world stored and protected most importantly we must create our own in-house weapons with the mission of being fast recovery of depleted equipment automated factories can make things a lot quicker there are factories have to be upgraded with military missions in mind. Stocks of food should also be stored because Food Supplies is a major Target for terrorism along with water supplies people can live without electric but not without food and water

Most importantly you can't count on satellites for real-time information because they will be annihilated at the first stage of any War. You don't have to destroy all satellites all you have to do is create enough space junk and the junk will kill the rest of the satellites, basically there's too many satellites and it would be like a domino effect. So military has to be able to look down shoot down capability and communicate in a very complex military where communication is key

The F15-EX will continue the successful U.S. strategy of deploying stealthy (previously the F-117) fighter attack aircraft to destroy command and control as well as air defense systems. In this case, the F-35 will clear these targets. Thereby allowing the F-22 and the F-35 to establish in theater air dominance. The F-15 will then be used to also participate in that role, while primarily prosecuting hell on earth ground attack and ground support operations.

I have observed The A&B models maneuver doing through " touch & goes " within the limits of one runway nearly six aircraft handling the exercise in the length of one runway simultaneously ( 🤔❓😯❓😯😇👍❗)twas an amazing demonstration of nonchalance in abilities that said very cApable beyond your imagination. I had previously seen them up close @ Sheppard AFB crew chief school. But literally seeing their abilities in flight was beyond what I could comprehend in maneuver and simultaneously power in both slow flight and not so slow flight the aircraft , went beyond reason in what I thought a fixed wing aircraft could do actually seeming to laugh @ physics .
