I typically only see names like that in catamarans and I've been looking at fishing cats (currently looking at a slightly used TomCat 255) that could also allow the mrs. and I to do the Great Loop when we retire shortly. So the "cat" is probably why this got recommended to me. It's not what I'm looking for, but I know someone _definitely_ has this beauty in their sights and are either crunching numbers, or calling a lender right now. Lol

Wish I’d have known about the new ‘25 StormCat prior to ordering my new ‘24 220 BP. Now I have quite the dilemma. I’m one who looked hard for a nice pre-owned previous generation StormCat only to settle on the BP. Well, I suppose I’ll make do.

No drain holes in the back of floor for washing down the floor?. Need some so when it's raining or washing catfish and sturgeon slime off deck it has some where to go

I had the opportunity to do a walk around video of the Excel StormCat 2024 at Catcon in Louisville. Very impressive. I would like to know what are the differences for 2025?

Only question I have: On the 23 or 26 foot version will side benchs with storage be offered? Most boats of this design have something like that as an option but have their windshields pushed way forward.

Also an option of no massive livewell in the back. I would rather have a 30 gal livewell/ baitwell. I can see it being great for tournament catfish guys. But myself I would rater not be 4.5ft from the back of the boat trying to land a fish. The floor drains, and a different option rather then the massive livewell are my 2 cents. Otherwise I love it. But those 2 things would turn me away.
