my opinion doesn't count, but to me it is a massive downgrade compared to the levante (especially in the front end). where it got better are just the interior probably. they made a maserati look like a jaguar e-pace, and it is not a a good thing at all.

As a current owner, I can say that valets love parking it outside restaurants, but the platform is a mess. There are way too many quirks and software defects or bad functionality that make this an extremely irritating car to drive. The whole key and keyless entry system is a mess and doesn’t work properly and the car never stops beeping. Every time you touch the door handle whether it’s locked or unlocked results in 2 beeps. You can literally play music with the door handle. The car gets more laughs than looks which is a pity!

Levante got a face-lift in 2021. New Levante is due to be launched end of 2023 start of 2024.

Cars were simple and elegant before the “screen” (and the period of “gazillion buttons” before the screen). Take Mercedes W124 for instance. Moreover, luxury meant the finest materials, craftsmanship, and comfort (or sportiness depending on your taste). So Maserati, looking for that sporty luxury car from you because you’re not as invested in as the rest… and a Maserati was and still is the definition of sporty luxury.
