I've got a Meteor 350. Seeing that a lot is common between the Meteor and Classic, I was hoping to see at least an honorary mention of Meteor being the first to carry out those ground breaking changes in the history of Royal Enfield. I purchased classic 350 in year 2009 , one of the proud owner in chennai , precisely from thiruvottriyur !! The birth place of RE in India.. but sadly hell out of quality issues ,with in 3 days fuel tank got leaked. Still I am owning ,bearing the quality problems ,latest one swing arm shaft got broken during my drive at highways ,somewhat managed brought the byk safely to home, Hope RE overcame all this sort of reliability , quality issues...

I saw it up close yesterday and its pros are the new engine, lower seat height and the contoured rider seat and the fatter tyres. What I don't like is the design seems lacking something and I can't put my finger on what exactly it is. The outgoing Classic has probably the best lines ever put on a retro bike. I wish they had kept the design and put the new engine with as little modifications as possible. I'd even say the new instrument cluster seems tad bit cheap compared the all rotary dials of the current Classic. Well I'll still be riding my Classic 500 Stealth Black for as long as it lasts. 🤘 No other brand comes close. Jawa, Honda should be very worried now.
