Even if they found them, they would have to bring equipment to unbolt the 17 bolts thats keeping them trapped in there to give them oxygen if they are at risk of oxygen depletion. You cant just bring them to the surface anymore because theyll get decompression sickness. I cant believe they had absolutely no backup safety mechanisms. There's no regulation for submersibles and that field as they're rather new. CEO wanted to be an "innovator" in the field. He was warned by both those within and outside the company. Leaders in the field sent him letters warning him, too. There will be regulations/laws after this, though.🫠

I understand its use for Science, but for this folly with civilians? Absolutely not. It is sad that accidents and deaths must occur before strict regulation. I only feel sympathy for the young 19 year old, though. His father, the wealthy Pakistani man also on-board, led his son to a premature grave for some foolishness. Immurement has to be one of the worst ways to die, and I actually hope that a catastrophic failure that gave instant death occurred, rather than entombed in the cramped dark freezing abyss. Greed, too much money, and too much time on your hands will make an example out of someone.
