I feel like Warren's solo stated off funky because he was so into Dickeys solo and he needed a minutes to get his shit together, Dickey and Warren had no equal.

This Austin City Limits concert by the Allman Brothers is absolutely flawless. Monstrous guitar playing and tone and the singing is great as always. Had this concert on VHS my friend recorded off TV. He lent it to me and had no chance of getting it back. It changed my guitar playing life. Watched it until the wheels fell off the tape. Thanks for posting. I didn’t get to see these performances again until KZbin.

Love this version. Great post thanks 🙏 . The Dead slow it down (92 Hampton). While different feel. But something about the Allmans upbeat version that gets me every time . Seeing Warren and Alan Woody (RIP) ripping it the the last couple of minutes brings fond memories. What a version!!
