Commercial south movies are self insert fan fiction of the male writers and directors. Greatest eg being Vanga. They vent their frustration on celluloid, how they are "good at heart" but misunderstood guy. The theatre going audience constituent of men with same mindset. Thus, this kind of trope become commerical success.

Every industry has its own shitty movies. But, Tollywood has the majority 😂. South Indians are not fans of Allu Arjun. There are way bigger stars. All these sudden fans arose bcoz of the pan-Indian nonsense.
