The AlmaCast with Tree 63's John Ellis and Angus Warden

In our latest episode of the AlmaCast Jono and Pete interview two of the three members of Tree63, founder John Ellis and drummer Angus Warden.
It’s a lively and at times sober reflection on Tree 63’s past and, more importantly, the future of a band that captured South Africa’s and in turn, the United States’ hearts in the late 90s and 2000s.
We talk about the impact of revisiting old songs and how those have matured in some instances 20 years on from their creation. We reflect on John’s eye-witness account of 9/11 and how close the original Tree entourage came to that event.
For the most part, it’s a warm and fun chance to capture the imagination of musicians embarking on a new chapter of their career and the excitement that the future holds.
