I got that one a while ago, put a Rival spring in it, hits around 120fps with AF pro half darts. Super easy to mod, easy to prime still. Love it.

I think I prefer the updated Blitzfire better over this mold, since it’s based on the older blitzfire from dartzone, it just has better sights. I love the grip on the older model, but I do tend to try and aim but the older one’s sights aren’t great with having to tilt the blaster upwards. Still, not bad for the price. Color scheme looked nice too.

I have 2 quickshot mk2's and its easily one of my favorite budget blasters. Im surprised more people have not been talking about it. IMO they would absolutely perfect if they had slamfire. But at the cost of 2 for $15 @ target, I can not complain in the slightest. edit : ah i see you mentioned the lack of slamfire. It is worth noting that with some practice you can get a surprisingly high rate of fire out of it.

The Dinoblitz is a repaint of the 6-year-old original Blitzfire, NOT the Blitzfire X2 (aka BF-2), which is a Target exclusive with a completely different, better shell (I think the internals and functioning are identical). The Dino Blitz has identical plastic molding to the original but without the absurd giant flip-up sight and hideous Dart Zone stickers (with the removable Dino Scope added). The X-2/BF-2 never had those ugly bits and is superior mostly for cosmetic reasons (it is a truly beautiful Sci-Fi style blaster). These are the best low-cost toy-level pistols available (X2/BF-2 is now $15USD for a pair so it is cheaper per blaster, but you cannot buy them individually. The DinoBlitz is available from Amazon in the US for $10USD). Both of these blasters have superior accuracy and ease of use. They are more accurate than the Villainator, Spectrum, Stryfe, Hammershot, Strongarm or other Toy-level blasters, and of those, only the Spectrum out-ranges them. They can both be adapted for short darts with a bit of tape (or a screwdriver). Converting to short darts does NOT affect long dart use. The X-2 (BF-2) doesn't have any of the flaws you mentioned and is easier to prime due to a better prime grip. The tradeoff for fixing the dart-falling-out issue is that you shouldn't store it loaded because it compresses the darts enough to leave noticeable damage which may affect dart-fit in other blasters. If you never leave darts in the cylinder overnight it isn't a problem. Unfortunately, Target exclusives can be harder to get in Canada. Drac reviewed the original Blitzfire in 2016. You can get 2 blitzfires on Target shelves right now where I'm at...I frikin LOVE my blitzfires!! So yeah they sell 2 for like 15 or 16$ USD I've got 2 packs so 4 blitzes all together...will never go back to Nerf Pistols that's for sure!! Another Pistol I absolutely LOVE is the X-Shot one that you showed on screen the red Dino claw one, sometimes I do pick that over my blitz simply because of the loose dart barrels you were referring too...but I run short darts out of all my sidearms now...so loose barrels aren't too much of a problem anymore!

the blitzfire is cheap because dart zone/adventure force doesn't have air restrictors and the builds have thinner plastic (usually). in this case, a disruptor might be a better choice since it has more barrels exposed for reloading as well as the slam fire you are missing.

It's not a reskin of the blitzfire X2... it's the other way around. It's literally just the first generation blitzfire with a scope attatchment... it's not a new blaster, this has been on the market for years LOL

So, I'm pretty sure the blaster you got is a lemon. Keep in mind, I own two Blitzfire X2 blasters, not Dinoblitz blasters. The trigger issue you talk about has never shown up with either of my Blitzfire pistols and the barrels on yours might be looser than usual because I've never had old darts fall out of the barrels. Once again, I don't own a Dinoblitz so the design might differ from the Blitzfire X2's design.
