Nice review. My biggest complaint is than we must press hard on the side buttons. It's a big annoyance.

The cover contains a magnet for the hall sensor. It would be nice to see a method (careful placement of magnets in the cover itself?) which would hold the cover in place when closed. The S pen is not used when the cover is closed. Therefore, the magnets should not interfere when the cover is opened.

Absolutely fantastic review. I have this case and I didn't know about animated background. Thanks m8. I have this one and I had for S22 ultra. The newer case has got better quality. The functionalitty of these cases is absolutely awesome. It does not make a phone much fatter, without problems fit and wireless charge to car phone holder. And. missing magnes is not an issue. I really recommend

I feel transparent flip case which came as part of S10+ was ideal , I could see the full screen without compromising on screen protection. This small window doesn't make sense 🤷

I have a specific question. I am considering buying a galaxy S24 Ultra with exactly this type of case. Is it possible to open the camera by double pressing the lock button and then take pictures with the cover closed, or does the cover block this? If the cover does block this, is there any setting to turn off auto-lock when the cover is closed, or better yet how to give an exception to certain apps? I use cover-closed photography a lot on my current phone for snapshots or when I only have one hand and need to take a picture of something. But on my current phone (Huawei) I have to have the smart cover locking feature turned off, otherwise it won't let me launch the camera and take pictures.

If the cutout was on the bottom end or atleast on the lower half of the phone, it could have been used with a single hand. Atleast to pick and reject calls or swipe through notifications.

I bought this case because I've loved all the flip cases in the past but this one sucks. You have to press insanely hard just to get the volume buttons to register or the power button. I don't like the little window missing the plastic part because that protected the part of the screen. Now I'll have to get a screen protector, something I haven't needed in a long time since past flip cases were always great. This one is not worth the money and glad I got mine for free through Samsung with the $100 credit they offered. I'm already looking into getting a new case and I've barely had it 2 days. Super disappointed. :(

Could you please do the same review for the new s24u sview case and compare it to s23u and s22u sview cases? I had a terrible experience with the s23u sview case as opposed to s22u sview case. Material was much worse, and buttons were so difficult to press. I would really appreciate it if you could compare them for 24u too as I read on Samsung website they upgraded the material to UL ECVP 2809-2 from UL ECVP 2809 on s23u.

I actually just looked up "live wallpapers" then used the screen recorder feature in the quick toggles menu (the toggles you get when you pull the notification shade down twice). I can't remember which exact videos I used though.

I came across this video after going bonkers trying to figure out why my s-view was not working, no matter how many different words I put in my settings search I could not get settings for it. The answer was not in this video but for the record, don't put a stick on metal direcrlu on your phone, or the cover doesn't work 😤

The gadget case really isn't that great. I'm waiting for more gadgets to be released, but the case itself is a super hard/stiff plastic with bad buttons. As for the leather and silicone cases. I'll be uploading dedicated videos for those directly on Amazon. I can link to them in the pinned comment once they are uploaded.

Don't worth more than 10 eur. It's like cheap chinese cover. Feeling in a hand is awful, chunky. Samsung best cover was Smart LED cover for S20 series. Samsung, give us LED cover for S23 like was for S20, please!

I find this case unusable solely because it does not have any magnetic or latching mechanism to keep the front cover shut. I cannot imagine carrying this heavy phone around while having to deal with a slippery front side. It's sad that there's cases just like this for half the price with ACTUAL mechanisms to keep the front side sealed.
