I have made a slew of these hats using your old video and I absolutely love them as do their recipients. I had just started on one for my toddler son and after getting about halfway done realized it was definitely too small for him. I went back to check the video to figure out the best way to modify the size and found this updated tutorial. It is great! I’m not a beginner but I am sure all of the clear instructions are incredibly helpful to someone just starting out. I’ve also taken to not counting the chain stitch at the beginning of a round myself as I think the work looks cleaner in the end. Thank you for sharing your instructions and I’m looking forward to making this anew.
