The only Switzerland story I know... Swiss town needs to widen a road for heavier traffic, but they don't want to cut down the 300 year old trees along the side of the road, so they planted new trees out the width of the widened road... and will widen the road in 300 years.

Sorry called at chamonix and went up Mont Blanc, went on the mountain railway from Martigny, while in les Marecotes went swimming in the cut out rock pool which I believe is still there,all this time and I can still remember must have been fab.🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗

The German speaking Alpine region is the quaintest of all. All the Alps are beautiful per se, but the Geman cultural ingredient is what has transformed landscapes into charming, picturesque, quaint villages and farmsteds surrounded by impressive mountains.

Another beautiful video with awesome music. You have a really good ear for music for the magnificent scenery. Not a lot of roads or highways or cluttered ports with their super tankers, cargo containers etc. The castle at 7:30 is a great beauty and must be just as beautiful inside. The scenery from the castle would make one want it to go on forever. I remember going through the mountains around Banff Alberta in Canada on through British Columbia and a beautiful little town called Nakusp nestled in the mountains beside a lake that I had to take a ferry ride to from Revelstoke. Keep up the great work it's well worth watching 😊

Thanks so much Kevin! The alps are probaby my favorite region in the world, nothing matches the beauty and simplicity of those mountains and the Europeans towns and villages. The castle in Germany is a true fairytale. I gotta see more of Canada’s mountains, Banff looks stunning!
