"THE ALTAR, A SIGN OF HOPE",

The practice of making sacrificial animal offerings to God the creator to atone for the sins of mankind, began with God making a sacrifice of an innocent lamb for the sins of Adam and Eve.
Hebrews 9: 22,
And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Leviticus 17: 11,
For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
 Saints of God the life that is in the blood of a sacrifice is used as a sort of signature, or seal, to an agreement, or as in the Old Testament… a covenant agreement.
Exodus 24: 8
 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.all the ordinances thereof, and all the forms thereof, and all the laws thereof: and write it in their sight, that they may keep the whole form thereof, and all the ordinances thereof, and do them.”
Thus Sunday school Scholars of the Holy Bible, the life blood of Jesus signed an agreement, between God and mankind, sealed a covenant agreement between God and all believers in the powerful blood of Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, to forgive us our sins, and to seal us until our day of redemption.
Thus animal sacrifices are no longer required by God, because the life giving sacrificial blood of Jesus, is superior to that of any animal sacrifice.
Matthew 26: 28
For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
