Thematically, it would make more sense for the exit to go through the void and the permakill being sending them into the basement and/or abstracting them. It would also help prevent the imposter from softlocking the crewmates by throwing them into the void.

I think what would have been cool is one person is playing as Ragatha and has to keep the other crew mates from going insane while Caine has to make them go insane and if the meter fills they become "Abstraction, and have to hunt down other crew mates until Gains puts the abstracted in the cellar (putting crew mates in the cellar would give him more ability so he can't just turn everyone and not do anything.)
