I have been conditioned to believe that when someone says that "There's no hard feelings," there are some lingering hard feelings, the only way to stamp out those negative feelings is to shed light on it in a one-on-one and either reconcile or apologize

Yeah, I was kinda getting that vibe from Ragatha. Even though she said that it's no big deal that she abandoned her, I really think deep down she wanted Pomni to at least apologize, address it, or even talk about it. I really want them to be close friends, but they still have some issues to work out now that Pomni has learned to let down her walls.

I found that scene super relatable. It's one of those situation where you don't want to make the other person feel guilty, but you did feel hurt. On one hand, you'd like for your feelings to be aknowledged. But on the other hand, you try to hide them and get over them for the sake of the other person.

Also, I like that Ragatha kind of went through different phases: Step 1) She said "it's totally understandable", "no hard feelings", "you're all good", but the nervous laugher, her way of phrasing it ("don't worry about the whole... "abandoning me for the exit" thing"), and the fact itself that she brought it out, made clear that she wasn't completely over it. Even if she wanted to get over it. She did felt "abandoned" by Pomni, after all. Step 2) Seeing that Pomni didn't register anything of what she just said, and that Pomni was still completely disoriented and zooning out, Ragatha felt sorry. You can see that she made a guilty expression right after it. She felt bad for Pomni and for having taken the "exit thing" so personally. So, she says "let's forget about all that" and she immediately changes subject. This time, she truly means it. Step 3) Ragatha spends the rest of the episode trying to make up for Pomni's horrible first day, and trying to "fix" their rocky start. She wants to make sure that Pomni understands that she holds no grudge for what happened. In doing so, she kind of ends up overdoing it, and making it personal again. But her attempt at connecting with Pomni and making her feel welcomed was sincere.

@@roca7268 I want to point something out that Gooseworx has mentioned. In Tumblr, she has stated that Ragatha will say things that she thinks will reduce tensions in situations or with others (my interpretation from this is that Ragatha has experience dealing with a dysfunctional family or has been an abused victim in the past), she also has stated that Ragatha internalizes her trauma. If any of that is to go by, then I worry a lot about our best girl Ragdolly. I hope that Pomni realizes her errors soon before it's too late. But who am I kidding, this show is about misery and existential dread. Yet hope lingers.
