Saw Johnathon in Columbus this spring and actually got called up on stage, what an honor to be so close to a living legend. Today's magicians should be calling and thanking Johnathon each day for leading the way. It was a memory that I will treasure forever. Thanks Johnathon Catch his show whenever you can

I’m watching this for the first time ever, it is god knows how many years since it was aired, and I KNOW he will bend the spoon by hand, and still he manages to trick me - of course, I looked away when the guy opened the door and missed the move, had to rewind to catch it. when yout trick still works on youtube and you made it before internet even existed, then you know you’re a master of the trade :) great perfomance. RIP

RIP magical funny man. I saw him first, I think on HBO in the 90s. Always a treat. Listening to his interview on WTF with Marc Maron now. His story about his last "serious" magic show is fantastic. Or should I say amazing. Also, he thought he was going to die in 2014-2015, but did not pass away until 2022. I hope his suffering was minimal.

Jonathan was just straight up funny. The first time I saw his act, He was introed as the Punk Rock Magician. For his first trick, he said he was going to make a rabbit appear then disappear from a top hat. He puts a top hat on a table, says "Pull!". Rabbit pops out, Jonathon pulls out a gun and shoots the rabbit. Thanks for all the laughs, you will be missed.
