Thanks for highlighting some of the new features, Adrian. Impressive update! Being able to name cameras (Camera A, Camera B, etc.) and change the camera and effects on the fly without having to go through each scene is especially helpful.

Amazing! But desk view does not work on Ecamm, I tried everything, one moment it worked and I set two views from my iPhone, me and my keyboard, after restart it stoped work completely. Can anyone help?

This is SUPER Informative! I’ve been podcasting for 2 1/2 years and just started our Video Page this year (6 months). I’ve enjoyed the final product of video but have dreaded the post edit process. Great overview Adrian as always. I've been so excited for this version, especially with isolated video which has been my top requested feature over the years. Although now, it seems I need to get a new iMac, since my 2017, Retina 5K 27-inch iMac doesn't have the M1 or M2 chip. *shudders* haha

I believe that Facebook and LinkedIn allow max 1080p stream. So if I set 4k, that means the stream is automatically downgraded but the recording isn’t?

Superb update! Great video! I just downloaded V4. I wonder if it's possible to switch mid-stream just on KZbin to go from a public stream to Unlisted (not VIP member stream)? Maybe I'd set up two simultaneous streams on KZbin? Anyway, this is all FAB!!! Super excited!

I think how you would do this is to have two streams one unlisted and the other public and then end the public one while keeping the unlisted streaming

Ecamm has always been great with new features and new looks, but throughout their upgrades, They have not focused on audio. I look forward to trying Ecamm one more time and see if the audio is up to a standard that for a price it should be. There has always been a swirling sound throughout the video when live. When you spend $1,000's of dollars on microphones, preamps and plugins, I expect Ecamm to sound equal to at least OBS. So far, Ecamm has yet to add the ability to use 3rd party plugins unless they have finally included in this update. Hope so. Yes, I know how to properly set audio.

We’ve run high end productions through it with no audio problems. I don’t know about 3rd party plug-ins 🤷‍♂️

Amazing. They basically eliminated the need for an ATEM mini for a majority of people. This will make videos more dynamic. All they need to do is add another Cam Link. Just need an M1 or M2 Mac.

3 cameras, 1 microphone, 1 ecamm live, 1 SDD, 1 ac power, - you are already talking 7 inputs into a max m1 or m2 that has just 3 usb C I think a atem device is useful because it turns 3 cameras into one and allows track recording at 4k which ecamm doesn’t Apart from that, this is a fantastic update and I wish my Mac had more ports

hi! I use OBS to stream and record over on Twitch. I stream in 1080p but record in 4k with a super high bitrate...but i record short clips, not my whole stream. Does ECAMM have a feature to stream in 1080p, record in 4k AND can i toggle recording on/off for short clips instead of recording the whole stream? Many thanks!

Unfortunately not, Ecamm will record the entire stream at the same resolution

I’m not getting rid of one stream because here in Florida we have low upload Speeds and I want to go live at 60fps, 1080. That adds up in terms of bandwitch requirements quickly
