I would take the 20 acres and make a “Universal Rewind “ section. An updated version of the Universal original rides. Maybe Jaws, Back To The Future, and a Ghostbusters ride. A few old shows like Beetlejuice.

I wonder if Pokemon could also join Mario and Zelda at Universal since it is rumored that the Spider-Man ride in Japan would be replaced by a Pokémon theme.

Oh they will. It’s too big to not have in the US parks.

It’s very likely to happen as well. As WMFilms said, it’s just too big of an IP to not use in the other parks. I’m not sure how the rights would work, just because haven’t done much research about it, but the Pokémon IP is kind of a mess… it’s not only owned by several companies, but there’s more things at play… If we complete break it down to the most simple answer, Nintendo owns 33% of Pokémon. (This isn’t 100% correct though)

I bet Universal will be testing a Pokemon attraction at USJ and if everything goes well with that than they may bring here and turn into a whole land somewhere in Universal Orlando Resort

If Mario is in Epic Universe, and Zelda in IOA, I can imagine Pokémon going to Studios. Possibly replacing the Simpsons ride, or maybe MIB.

I doubt they would. Rings of Power isn’t a Universal/Comcast owned series so no reason for them to push it. I think they’d stick to the bigger stuff from Lord of the Rings.

Hey, I watched the whole season of Rings of Power but even with that huge budget, it didn’t have that great feeling from the LotR movies. I mean, even the Hobbit didn’t have that!

Zelda should replace the lost continent area on islands of adventure. You could also replace Dr Seuss with Pokemon, allowing that whole side from the entrance to Harry Potter to be Nintendo IP. Looking longer, I feel they should turn the Marvel land into Transformers - i know they still have the rights to Marvel but it just doesn't sit right. It would also be interesting to extend the Jurassic World area to take over Kong, Popeye and Ripsaw Falls.

​@@kongcakes.all the lands are based on literature. Dr. Seuss, the kid books, Harry Potter, the novels, Jurassic Park, the novel, Toon Lagoon, comics/newspapers, and finally Marvel is based off the comics.

Even though I personally don't like LotR very much, I'd love to see Rivendell recreated as a theme park land. Zelda wins for me though, as it is my favourite media franchise in the world.

Unpopular opinion, I actually think a Middle earth land would fit Disney better instead of Universal, because I think a Lord of the rings land could be similar to Galaxy’s edge. Idk what happens land who even has the rights I think no matter where it goes I think the land would be awesome!

I think it would be great, but looking at the Harry Potter lands I think Universal would do an amazing job at recreating those places, maybe even better than Disney…

@@themainstreetnews that’s true i think no matter where the land will be at I think it would be great. Universal does a fantastic job at recreating set pieces. Also somewhat unpopular opinion I didn’t think Super Nintendo world was perfect even from a long time Nintendo fan. It felt to video game ish even though I love them, I just feel like it should have been more like Cars land at DCA. Idk i think that was more of Nintendos hands than Universals and maybe it will be a lot different and maybe I’m a little biased because I prefer Disney but idk. I just feel like sometimes Middle earth would fit really well being next to Galaxy’s edge..
