Samuel Laflamme was a fan of Elfman's ost in Batman 1989! Even though he didn't know English, he still watched the movie just for the soundtrack! It was one of his biggest inspirations for creating music like this and for his other projects like Outlast.

Almost everyone prefers the 1st Tasm game over the 2nd one. The only thing the 2nd game did better was web swing. The devs had a good vision, but poor execution due to lack of time.
