this is a response that's long over due.. the amazing Spiderman didn't do well in the 2nd movie due to 4 reasons Im aware of.. too many micro plots.. how gwen Stacey's death was handled..she chose not to listen...she was even webbed to keep her out of the fight..in the comics the goblin abducts her from her home..waiting for peter ..the exact opposite ..(we all knew it was suppose happen..) and who killed her.. it was never suppose to be harry but Norman Osborn that kills her and having a green goblin that again doesn't look like a green goblin is friggin stupid to everyone.. the 4th reason is the main reason legal reasons some kind of dispute occurred that caused the actual cancellation so in the end it was something that none of the fans had any control over..I wish we did..If Im being honest.. I think Gwen should've "died" in the 3rd movie and have the 2nd movie develop her and Peter's relationship more..and each movie should've only focused on one villain maybe 2 at any given time it's just more organized that way..
