An Amazon Queen is a “fairy chess piece” or a variant of the original rules of the game. The piece has the power of a queen and a knight. The value of the Amazon Queen is 12 points - an increase from the normal 9 point value of a queen.
An Octopus Knight is a strongly- positioned knight in enemy territory that can reach out to the maximum of eight squares.
