i just finished watching the vid. this is a great take on amazoness, and as a long time copium addict for the amazoness i am pleased on just how well informed everything here is. i agree with pretty much every take you have as they are the exact same takes i mostly have already. that said i want to say my two cents regarding your deck compared to my own. keep in mind that my perspective comes as a tcg player. the format diferrences (majorly the fact that tcg is best of 3 and has side decking) really shape the way we consider deck considerations. as of me writing this comment an important thing to keep in mind is that amazoness has never been weaker than the current format. i believe this is true in tcg and master duel alike for one simple reason: Tenpai. the existence of a deck that blinds going second and doing so with incredible success is a detriment for any rogue strategy that hopes to do the same. before Tenpai not many people play around decks that blind second because put simply, nobody blinded second. that allowed surprise second strategies to catch people off guard. decks like numeron, and of course amazoness were able to cheese wins from sheer surprise factor alone at times. this doesn't really work too often in tcg because of the side deck. i usually lose with amazoness in rounds 2 and 3 after getting a cheesy round 1 win because come round 2 my opponent can no longer be surprised and of course has cards in the side deck to handle things. a skilled player familiar with the cards may even opt to simply blind go second after their losing game because they know how vital the battle phase is for amazoness. unlike tenpai, amazoness can't do anything going first. trust me... i tried. but with Tenpai existing everyone has an answer to going second strategies. have fun fighting against a labrynth that has threatening roar set! it isn't impossible though! the fact that it's harder to win with amazoness now just makes me wanna try even harder honestly. let me give my takes on how to improve your deck further... in my personal opinion. firstly, i think you should take out all the handtraps. handtraps are not worth it with amazoness. their impact no matter how well timed is never worth it in my experience. the only hand trap worth playing is maxx c or in my case mulcharmy fuwaross. ash blossom is a darling and should be murdered. a case could be made for keeping imperm though. it is not once per turn and usually a well timed imperm can stop an opponent from playing better than ash ever could. that happened in one of the games you showed in fact which has me wanting to try imperm, if nothing else as a trap target for droplet. drawing cards can never be a bad thing tho, hence why maxx c should stay. super polymerization is great because it is technically an engine card but is also a board breaker. i have also found Alpha, The Master of Beasts be a good choice. Running small world instead of Aussa (but aussa is actually a good choice i've never considered) as the consistency tool. foolish burial goods is honestly great too. i run 3 of polymerization to maximize my odds of starting with Spirit Arts in grave + Poly to turbo out Augusta as fast as possible. one card i absolutely insist you take out tho is triple tactics talent. speaking from experience. if you want to, keep it, but only at one and definitely alongside thrust, or heck, just run thrust instead as a 3 of. you showed a game where tactics was such a detriment, but thrust allows you to be far more flexible. case in point, unless you are willing to consider doing something with thrust other than draw 2, you would rather search a spell with thrust instead if it manages to come online. i know thrust wouldn't have made a difference either way during the tear match you showed since the tear was awfully perceptive in playing around it but i think it would've just been more useful to search something like ROTA or Poly or Duster than draw potentially just 2 more bricks. War Chief was a fantastic draw though... back to in engine choices i agree with pretty much all your inclusions and exclusions... except one. along with the traps i have found the field spell Amazoness Village isn't worth running in main deck either... grind games don't exist with amazoness from my experience. those so called grind games you played were against fellow jank decks. rescue ace is not jank but it does struggle with board breakers as it is incapable of follow up if you destroy/prevent their all important backrow usually which you did. with amazoness you get 1 turn and that's it. runick, labrynth, even umi control will beat amazoness any day in a grind because amazoness is not a grind deck and WILL get outgrinded. there is no grind deck that goes second. i don't think there CAN be such a deck. you have to outright kill on turn 2 or destroy all their resources so they can't follow up turn 3 or else you will get outgrinded or simply beaten over yourself by a superior powered deck as all you usually have are 2 towers that are not very tower-ey to end your turn on. The litmus test for towers are raidraptors which the amazoness is not. there are options to consider where if you are in the tcg like me, can be put in the side deck. understandably less considerable in master duel's format. Amazoness Swordswoman. Run her at 2 alongside village as an alt win con. she's like yubel and mikanko but worse, but sometimes summoning her with augusta and with protection from empress can cheese out a silly win. Whether you are going first or second, i think Amazoness Scouts is a great option. If you know you can't kill on turn 2 and you know you won't be able to get empress anyways, you can summon scouts instead and protect your lone augusta that way instead. If you know you are going first it is once again a good summon off augusta for the same reason, she offers good protection. speaking of knowing for certain you are going first such as when matched against tenpai or maybe playing against a grind deck like lab, i'd argue the field spell, onslaught and yes.. amazoness hot springs is a good choice. barring extreme circumstances such as getting Linear Equation Cannon'd by Lab which is unlikely considering your average amazoness end boards, these traps are a good way to maintain advantage (not gain advantage because again amazoness isn't a grind deck that acummulates advantage) lastly there's amazoness archer. she's catapult turtle. if you are willing to not actually play amazoness did you know she's not only unlimited in tcg, but can be used to play really janky FTK's? 1200 for 2 monsters means you just need to find a way to get 12 monsters on field for archer to do her thing. i haven't had much luck on it, but since it's banned in ocg i assume there's a deck out there somewhere where archer is absurdly abusable... i just need to find it! that's about all i have to say. great video! again, i liked your deck, i definitely wanna try it out in tcg later tonight after coming up with good side deck options for your deck. keep it up fellow queen feet enjoyer.

I could watch this all day lol. I play going second Amazoness and I've found some decent success with a similar build. The biggest difference being Super Poly instead of Droplets

I love this deck. My favorite way to play this deck is with no hand traps and all board breakers. Super poly is great here. It helps pitch secret arts and fuse in battle phase going for game. I also play foolish burial goods and 2 thrust

I'm down for some live games in the future. It's really tough finding amazon content from people who play the game these days. Losing isolde hurt a lot of established builds and combo lines, so most of the older videos from when the new support was announced are unusable for reference on modern deck building.

As much as I wish I could, I still look at that deck every once in a while and I just can't find any meaningful improvements besides modern staple improvements. The core of the deck is still heavily limited by Ride of the Valkyries and Mischief. The best to hope for is a busted generic fairy spell, a generically good continuous spell, or more Valkyrie support.

@@majorfearr The variant Ive been testing lately, which I improvised, includes the Adventure engine... Giving up my normal summon to take advantage of the fact that the engine generates two spells which I can use with Sigrun to SS herself Sechste to give me Erda , plus the fact that its used a board breaker with Illegal Knight and Dracoback. Rite and Enchantress are great baits for negation as well. I use Lava Golem since Im giving up my NS which I can then steal by Relinquished Anima if need be.... Droplets works good in the deck as well, along with Final Light, which I know you are not a big fan of, but can still generate quiet the advantage and start my plays, given that Fateful Adventure can help my discard any Valkyrie to SS from GY and use effects. Cards like Baba Barber, Hip Hoshinigen and Protector of the Agents can helo get rid of monsters that are not Valkyries to utilize Mischief

I respect the adventure package, but I feel that it's too bricky in a deck like valks. It's definitely a great continuous spell engine to facilitate sigrun, but diviner is unironically the best valkyrie in the deck. Moreover, it further limits ride of the valkyries since it dilutes the deck further of good targets from the hand. I feel if you win with adventure package, it'd just be better pure than in a deck with valks. I actually think an engine like Horus is better. It's kinda bad as an ash bait, but if it resolves it provides some graveyard set up for sigrun with the continuous spell, and still enables the normal. Moreover, the 8 rank tool box could provide good negate baits before baba barber. Still, both engines are just straight better in other decks or pure.

What are your thoughts on Battleguard Echoes to search War Chief and increase consistency ?

wow, that's a really good tech option actually. Functions as a good search for War chief and golden whip. You can also use it's secondary effect pretty well too with spirtualist. The only thing is finding an optimal number and replacement in the deck if you want to keep it at 40. I almost want to suggest aussa but war chief is a very inoptimal starter since it's basically just a poly/ village search, leaving call and fusion for next turn. Triple tacts doesn't sound horrible since I was just using it as a hand trap counter/ draw two consistency option and that more or less could replace it and function as a pretty effective ash bait since it doesn't discard for cost. Otherwise, I think rookie warrior lady is likely my next go to.

@@majorfearr I find Rookie Lady en extremely spicy and clever tech which I love... Not only the for OTK help but for the recovery as well.... Works wonders 😁 Aussa easily gives us Princess which is the key card that holds the whole strategy together... As for Tactics, I mostly have used it againsts problematic cards like Apollousa.... It helps a lot, but there also Storms and Imperms, so I dont know... Maybe I will remove two tactics for the Echoes and see how it works... PS Im all about consistency in a deck to enjoy the game and I have to admit that you have fine quiet the balance in this one. Never have I bricked thus far, its just the nature of the deck that leads to a defeat most of the time...

I mean lightning storms is mostly there for generic back removal, which is just a passive insurance as blind second, but I don't know. Talents and lightning storm are kinda counters to extremes. I wouldn't argue against either to being replaced. I also appreciate the input
