I first heard Christology in 2008. My brother had the CD, it was scratch up so it wouldn't play in the car so I put it on my laptop and ripped it to the hard drive. It played perfectly. No lie, before God, I still listen to it once a week. The truths on that album never get old. Praise the Lord.

My very first exposure to Holy Hip Hop in the Summer of 2000 and I became so heavily into Holy Hip Hop. I used to blast Christology In Layman's Terms around my neighborhood in the Bronx with my Boombox and heads was feeling it. I used to also blast that album on Iron Horse and the Buses in New York City as a Christian Radio Raheem.

Man Christology is the illmatic of chh, matter of fact, it was better. That album in my opinion is the best Chh album of all time right beside Heaven's Mentality.

Learning Christology in Bible school - that began to rock me. Jesus is the key to the whole Bible. Jesus is the peak of God's revelation. Jesus is the glorious Son God sent because He loves people. They were going to encounter a version of Christ that was different than the one they had. That started Christology, that was the context. The moments were all memorable because I didn't know I was creating an album, I was just doing music. I would sit in a room for four straight days and other than run out to get something to eat, no shower, four days, that's how it happened.

Christian rap at first sounded weird to me cuz I could not understand what they were talking about. Christology was like trying to read Romans. It was too deep and I felt like he was using big words or it sounded like another language BUT once I got saved I understood everything. Now worldly music sounds like gibberish to me. I have no idea what they be saying. And I still listen to Christology.

I think you can measure the impact of an album by its transcendence of distance and/or time. In my case, Christology did both. I mean, I'm in South Africa and I first heard Christology (a 1999 album BTW) in like 2009 and I LOVED it. I hear his story of how he was discouraged at first and just think to myself you never know what God has planned for you.

I started listening to CHH towards the tail end of CM..so my first Amba album was Chop Chop. Then I went back and listened to Thesis & Christology. I'm a youngin I guess because I liked Thesis and Chop Chop a Lil better than Christology. Even with the Nas parallel, my first Nas joint was God's Son, and I like it just a bit better than Illmatic.

Rap it self is going pure prior it was immature I see it being also predictive to futures like prophets to poets with out the slaughtering of course. Hip hop however is growing their might be different genres even it’s changing and they are not imitating so it must be them bring it innovating pushing it through heaven and back down cause these guys brought the reasoning why is God’s

A sect of Pan-Afrians who believe that Black Man is GOD and that only 5% are "AWAKEN" to that 'fact' (this is a very elementary cut and dry explanation...didn't want to go tooo deep)

I don’t like the term gospel rap even though it is. I don’t like them saying even Christian rap cause that’s not what it. This is a hip hope an alteration to what positivity prophets in modern poetry call holy hip hop. H3 hummer to the field troops
