I own a bronze musket for home defense, since that's what the Arcane fathers intended. Four pirates break into my house. "What the mimhere?" As I grab my fair power amulet and Strong bronze musket. Blow an arcsphere sized hole through the first man, he's dead on the spot. Draw my dual bronze pistols on the second man, miss him entirely because they're smoothbore and nail the neighbors quartermaster. I have to resort to the lesser explosion cannon mounted at the top of the stairs loaded with heavy exploding shells, "Tally ho, lads!" the heavy exploding shell evaporates two men in the blast, the sound and extra shrapnel panics all nearby ship crews. Grab my dagger and charge the last terrified rapscallion. He bleeds out waiting on the Grand Navy to arrive since magic imbued weapon wounds are impossible to stitch up. Just as the Arcane fathers intended.
