Here we go again. Humble and good American among evil and cruel Russians.

You go to Bolshoi from America, would you really expect a red carpet? It's going to be brutal. And in a competitive world, glass in your shoes is child's play. If you want something badly enough you will do anything to get rid of rivals, especially one from a foreign country.

No matter about the politic, this is an excellent film. Fantastic actress and beautiful cinematography. It is worth a watch. 9/10

Good sample of hiw minorities are treated...now imagine if this girl was a chocolate skinned girl from Asia or Africa (motherland). I will never understand what people get from being mean to others. May God's kingdom come and end all badness. Overall really nice enjoyable film.

I no know Russian know for 'precision.' I thought German know for precision. American 'fire?' That might be true, but might be something you have to see, from the outside. You know? I don't see how ballerina can cut herself on pipe, like that. I would think THAT something 'Russian.' Like. Ballet dancer in Russia gonna make it to the show, and it more understood, 'ballet,' so it much more at stake/dangerous. That an interesting thing to add to movie. Ballet dancer slash leg on appliance or furniture. Um. I think the word is 'cold,' not 'precision,' unless you talking about icicle on frozen window.

You know this is a story about a real person, Joy Womack. She was the first American to get into this Russian ballet school. She was also pushed very hard while attending. It's not propaganda, it's history.

@L30N7587 ай бұрын
@@endrizo The same thing, it is their truth regardest of how it makes you feel. This is how Joy Womack was treated during her time there. Also, it's not a unique story as other Russian Ballet dancers have said the same thing. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it "propaganda".

Propaganda of what? Its a true story. And if anything it makes the russian ballet school even more respectable. When you see some of what they actually had to go through. Its not random that they are revered as the greatest
