I lost my wife to cancer March 8, 2019. We loved this song. We were from Pittsburgh and that was actually what jumped out about this song to us. She ended up dying from cancer being in her blood and had fluid in her lungs. Every time I hear that part, I just think of the irony how it remind me of her now. I miss you honey. Always.

Really need this album soon, you don't just get over depression and everything turn into flowers and butterflies, you merely lose the feeling of sadness by distracting it with things that make you happy, friends/family etc, and depending on circumstances you will come to a point where you encounter the same trigger that cause you to become depress, that's me and I'm afraid I'm suffering a relapse feeling more like the me of the past and hopefully their next album come on time to give me some hope like how their older stuffs always do, this is not just music for me, its medicine for a broken soul

Tyler Wafflez After I posted that comment I started really looking around at their videos and unfortunately came to that same conclusion quite quick. At first people said he was having "post nasal drip" issues but that wouldn't make it hard to sing certain notes, that would inhibit smooth breathing I guess but he didn't sound good :( I noticed he used to do lots of different styles on their first album, he also smokes cigs so maybe it's affecting him or he's just not warming up beforehand. Sometimes cigs don't do anything to a persons voice but not warming up or singing improper can be very harmful too, especially if you're playing every night.

It's a hard pit to climb out of. During 2019 I suffered from depression and suicidal thoughts. What kept me from taking my life was the fact my mother saved my life and my brother lost his best friend because he killed himself 5 years ago. My father told me to see someone. A year of therapy made me realise that life is still worth living, no matter the betrayals, no matter how hopeless it may seem at times. All this to say, life is a constant battle, but the best way to get through it, is by talking to people who care about you. The last thing anyone should do is keep their struggle quiet

In the autumn of 2019, I was battling a bout of depression. Frequently, I would awake wishing I hadn't. I was signed off sick from work, not wanting to get out of bed and one day, after going to see my GP, I went for a walk to try and clear my thoughts. I was listening to a Made For You playlist on Spotify and this song came on. It was the first time I had heard it, and it hit me like nothing else. Every word was so relatable and to see so many people feel the same way about this song, highlights the power of music. I'm pleased to say that I've come through my mental health struggles and I am now in a great place, but to those who are struggling, reach out. Don't suffer alone.

Listening to this band while drinking makes it hit me right in the chest. Feels more real then all the other times I’ve listened to this song. I drink to escape this reality but it doesn’t help all too much. I try to contact friends and they either say you’ll get over it or they just plain ignore. Not trying to seem desperate but this song speaks to me in many ways.

***** not to be the douche bag, but thier songs are like that, because almost all of their songs are about depression and suicide because the band was formed when a highschool close buddy of theirs killed himself and so they make these songs hoping to help people out and actually make a difference to the world.

These guys are fuckin' dedicated to their videos. Like, first they practically fucking drown and keep playing (or trying, drumming underwater seems hard), then they fucking set themselves on fire and keep playing in The Weigh Down. Other music videos tell cool stories, but god damn they don't go to these lengths to show something.
