that reminds me of the old mode they played that was similar to the “whisperer” role from Project Winter. i forgot what the role was called but essentially, you had an area of effect (like bomber) where anyone in that range would be converted after you hit them. you won by converting enough people, but if the converter died, all the convertees died too and crew won.
