When i worked at the video store near Mcgill University. Up in smoke was always gone. I thought it had been stolen till one day a customer returned it. That movie, Baraka and the Godfather were always rented out. But Up in Smoke would alwaysssss be rented. Every single time it would be returned it would get rented right away. It was incredible.
@NomenoNescioАй бұрын
My first job was at BlockBuster and it was always rented, I returned it to the shelf many times and literally someone would ask me right away for the movie i just put back. Also it was very late returned one time by a customer who put a joint in the VHS casette with a note "sorry, forgot to return" and let me just say that was one of the few times i let a bill slide😂 Good times

Watching my favorite movie of theirs, Still Smokin. I went to Amsterdam in 2005 for 3 weeks and I've only been in California once for a couple of days that I didn't get out of the city near LA, so I can appreciate the setting of Still Smokin just a little more than the other movies because of nostalgia.

Up in Smoke was rated R in Australia, which meant you had to be 18yo to watch it. At 16, I climbed into the boot (trunk) of my brother’s FE Holden with my best mate to get into the drive in movie theatre. Watching the movie, I hurt my rib’s from laughing so hard it took days for the pain to go away. I’ll never forget that, great memories ❤

The 6th film is Cheech & Chong's The Corsican Brothers. But it do not have the same "stoner type" of comedy like the regular movies, as its set in France , not in modern time. So there aint really any weed references to speak about from that one kinda.

Yeah by scamming mostly, I hope they catch flak for that "judges water" stunt they pulled. In case you didnt know, they sold a "limited edition" bottle of vodka, that converted to a smokeable piece. They charged 300, and then immediately made a "second edition" which is identical and half the price.
