Dear Lord, Today, bless the new week ahead of me. Stop the flow of anything sent to overwhelm me, dry up distractions before they reach my feet, and let every step lead me closer to the promises You’ve prepared. Release the courage to move forward, the faith to trust You, and the grace to leave every residue of fear behind. Open the way, and I’ll step in boldly. In Jesus’ name. Amen🙏🏾

Isaiah 34:13-15 : "13 And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls. 14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest. 15 There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate." Lilith herself is not mentioned in any biblical texts. The Hebrew word lilit is translated as "night creatures", "night monster", "night hag", or "screech owl". In the King James Bible, it is translated as "the screech owl" Lilith became a succubus/incubus preying on new born babies and seducing men and women in there sleep. This is not canonical and is derived from Jewish mysticism.

@@paulrodgers252 You won't find Lilith specifically mentioned in any of the above. This is a Mesopotamian and Jewish myth.

@TeresaSmith-mv2fb26 күн бұрын
It is Jewish mythology. The first creation story. Her story has been told in other mythology. Such as Sumerian. There were all kinds of creation story that were around way before the Bible. Some stories was told as Lilith would not submit to Adam. They were created the same and she felt laying down for him was below her. Then other stories made her out to be a demon because of her being a feminist.
