Couple of thoughts: rather than causing someone to become homosexual I wonder if men who abuse boys pick boys that they sense are gay? I wonder if the abuse caused his twisted mind?

Yes, men who abuse boys often pick up boys that "are up for it" but if the boys are not of Legal-age then during Police investigation & prosecution the men are considered "abusers and/or rapists" and the boy is considered as an abused minor
