I remember being an eight grader in Catholic school being bewildered when the kid on the PA system reading the daily morning reflection read that Jews, Christians, and Muslims worship the same God. I was an 14-year-old Orthodox Christian knowing how wrong that was! My mind immediately went to the Holy Trinity and I wondered how these guys could possibly say something like that.

It may have been the fault of whoever printed the daily reflections book, but such a thing should have been pre-screened by the diocese. I'll take your word for it that it isn't the norm in Catholicism, though. That's good to know.

If the Angel of the Lord is Jesus Christ. This refutes St. Paul Acts 4:12, that there's no other name through which we must be saved, assuming the Angel of the Lord was a salvific presence since the Angel of the Lord didn't bear the particular name "Jesus" Before the incarnation. If Jesus cannot operate "Asarkos" Without flesh as the divine Logos and without the particular name "Jesus" (As you claim to refute Perennialists) in keeping with Acts 4:12, then there's no reason to assume that the Angel of the Lord Was Jesus. It seems unnecessary. You can't have it both ways, unless you say that the Angel of the Lord wasn't a Salvific presence and it acquired a Salvific nature only after enfleshement in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.
