We’re honestly getting more comments on this than I thought we would, and while I don’t think anyone will scan the comments looking for an official response, I’ll just tell you BadlyDrawnJack that animation tends to be something where, because every single thing you see is created from scratch, these decisions tend to be deliberate choices, except in the case of obvious errors like incorrect colors or misplacing assets. So the Rubik’s cube is designed exactly as intended, with the understanding of what you just described.
