Annihilus is Marvel Snap's newest card, and he might have already ruined the meta!? Junk decks are seemingly everywhere thanks to his powerful new effect.

Power Estimate: This deck had a strong 62% win rate through the first 20 games, despite playing a ton of mirror matches. It's hard to guess where it'll land in the meta once lists get refined and the Annihilus popularity starts to stabilize, but there's definitely some promise.

@@tikicasha130 Best I’ve made thus far uses: - Nebula - Hood - Black Widow - Debrii - Green Goblin - Shang-Chi - Sentry - Annihilus - Doc Oc - Galactus - Alioth - Chavez You could probably sub a few cards in here, Shang-Chi is here only as a counter to all the destroy decks I see, but you get the general idea

For the game ending at 26:17 the line i think made most sense is mysterio sentry left. You flip left, the mysterio clone blocks void from being created, and then all the opponents junk goes away, putting them at 0 and you at 3

As of last night though i have been using Nina’s clog list with him & it’s great !

How Loki can beat this? Only if highroll anihilus from their deck. The best counter is destroy deck for sure, not only you destroy things, you also benefit from it. Second counter is bounce but its a bit trickier. I suggest kazoo-dazzler-blue marvel deck also will be fine

I would not consider the second game as an 'always win' since Regis had priority. If they had Annihilus, that would have sent everything over after the fact so the only way to always win would be to clog up the lane with enough cards to get 8 power while keeping them from sending anything back. Otherwise, they'd send everything over AFTER Regis's effects making them useless as a response to Annihilus.

Went 19-6 w a Galactus Alioth Annihilus deck. No, I'm not shameless it was just for testing purposes and as I expected it was way too good, I hope Annihilus gets a slight nerf while Galactus himself gets a small buff now because he p much does nothing in his own deck. Alioth is still imo one of the worst cards they've ever printed in terms of being bs. (not saying it has no counterplay)

It’s kinda better than when galactus first came out since based on my experience, annihulus is easy to counter if u expect it. With that said, i still think it’s pretty annoying to play against it. I play sera control btw thats why i have a positive winrate so far against this deck.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this Kang rework I’ve thought of, he would read: On Reveal: at the end of this turn set the game to the beginning of turn 6 . I think he could potentially become a 4/0 also. This would allow ramp decks to push him out early and it would be a way to essentially skip turns. Imagine this comes out on turn 3 and suddenly it’s turn 6. It could counter those decks that use turns 3,4,5 to build to a big turn six. What are your thoughts?

The only reason why I'm somewhat chill about this meta situation is cause I'm already playing Destroy nonstop as my favorite archetype for months now. That being said: even this deck, which currently looks looks like one of the very few actual counters to this upcoming junk meta, suffers hard sometimes in the form of Venom and Knull losing just tons of power..

7:54 how would you viper back a void if you have priority? If he had annihulus, it would go off after your play. Best you could have done is carnage>viper>demon for 11 power and hope his annhilus sends the mysterio back first for another 4 power (viper doesn't work cause he'd play annhilus so no space) but if he sends one void over, you would have 1 power in lane and then he'd have 7 from annhilus and mysterio and the 2nd void get destroyed. Im assuming the former happens since mysterio was there first, but maybe it send his own void first since thats the card in the "1st" position? Im not sure. Either way, you're not vipering anything his way.

Not a lot of choice at the moment in terms of junk cards. I would say that debris is a great card for this style of deck. But not necessarily needed. Would definitely be a huge boost in power if you do have her. Personally I would refrain from this deck if you don't have her.

They took series 4-5 cards out of the normal caches. Your only choices now are to get them from spotlights or the token shop. (which is a joke since they killed the token economy)

I always relied on Annhilus for mobile marvel games. He was my first 5 star in Contest of Champions and disrupting opponents is one of my favorite ways to play. I really hope they nerf his destroy cards ability. I feel like that would be a fair nerf. And I don't want the card to have a bad reputation.
