Happy anniversary! You're each other's find of the day! I think that creepy doll has had one of her limbs removed and shoved into her armhole backwards. As someone who formerly played with dolls, the end of that "arm" looks like the part that attaches the limb to the trunk.

My favorite thing was the Fender Jimi Hendrix peace sign T-shirt, The Drew Meister was sporting. !! I collect T-shirts and that one’s a winner !! As for the doll …. Hi Cathy and Drew, fab video! Your Anniversary bottle is beautiful with the light going through it, all those bubbles! I like the oil lamps, I found one and thought it was a large fancy ink until I watched a few videos then realised what it was lol 🤭The one you found with the stand is so pretty. The last pipe you found with the mouthpiece still attached is wonderful, I have never found one so complete. Hope you had a great anniversary 😃❤x

@@amandabell8827 Hi Amanda, We had a great anniversary Thank you! This day was actually our anniversary... What better place to be? 😄 (We celebrated all week though!) It was supposed to rain that day, but didn't, so the decision was a last minute one. It sure went well! The flask is different from any we have. So is that complete pipe! The bowl is wooden and the stem is some type of celluloid or early plastic I think (maybe bakelite?) I was surprised it said London England on it. Most pipes we find are from Glasgow, Scotland. The lamps: we have found many at this site... Including a match for the tall one (which Drew found in a previous video). The smaller lamps do look like inkwells.. the jagged tops were covered with a metal fitting. I think the creepy dolls are growing on Drew 😂. He seemed happy to find this one... a new addition to "Creepy Corner" in the basement. 😬 Their portraits make great Halloween cards.. I have actually sold some! Drew went to visit his brother on Staten Island NY this week... They went bottle hunting there, and found some things! I stayed home and took care of our animal friends. 😁🥜🐿️🐇🦃🦃🦔🦔 Hope you are doing well. Always look forward to our chats, and miss that when I take a week off. 😊💖

These creepy dolls are getting creepier all the time (so is that portion of our basement Lol). We have found LOTS of lamps in our rivers. Apparently that is where they (oil lamps) went, when electric lighting came in. 😁😎👍

Thanks Susan! There were many different styles of oil lamps, before people got electric lighting. Some are composed of separate glass parts, connected by brass fittings. We usually only find the separate glass components. There are people whole restore old lamps.. have the needed parts. We may do that some day (have a complete lamp made from parts) That doll will join the rest, in our basement! You have a great weekend too! Cathy & Drew 😁😎

Since Drew retired, he has never been so busy!! He is actually losing weight! No more desk job. We are having 90s F weather here in Mass now.. great river weather! Please don't wish our summer away too soon! We are keeping our wildlife well fed and watered through the heat. I don't think the turkeys like this hot weather though... They pant like dogs! 🦃

Thanks Tyler! We find bottle stoppers fairly regularly here. . As well as bottles. Sounds like you have quite a collection of finds! (We don't look for N. A. artifacts in Mass rivers.. we are not allowed to) But we did accidentally find a nice N.A. pestle once though.. we reported it, and donated it to the local historical society, in the town it was found. -Cathy 🙂

So our fav find is the amber flask. It is very different and crude! Too bad it is not embossed, but all the bubbles make it a great window bottle! The NH blob is a common one, but still a nice find. Hi Susan! I guess I was the last to figure out about the doll's arm. I did not play with dolls very much as a child... Although I do like the old bisque and china antique dolls. But I did look inside this doll, and yes: there is the hand! Snapping turtles: they can get HUGE and we have had our close calls. Drew actually stepped on one once... Thinking it was a rock! Fortunately, he did not get bitten. This one was napping (as opposed to snapping Lol). But they can move fast when they want to! It was a great day out though! What better way to spend our anniversary? 😁😎❤️

Happy Anniversary! I like that you used the music more sparingly in this one. The music can get a little tedious, and interrupts the asmr of the video, if used on every closeup.

Thank you for your polite input! (appreciated) We've had comments both ways on this subject. Some viewers say that they find pauses in the audio "disturbing". If it is only one or two views (at about 7-10 seconds each) there is really no need for the music. But when multiple shots, history, etc. or favorite finds of the day leave extended pauses/silence, that is where it's more needed. (I think) -Cathy
