While I appreciate the eloquence of SAS...It's my belief that Nigeria is not starting with PBAT.... Decision should be people focused and objectives should be tied to definite timeline. Succeeding government has claimed to take hard decision only to be declared wanted by graft agency at the end their tenor. The government should also be courageous enough to reverse or rethink decision resulting in devastating negative unintended consequences. The so called REMOVAL of Subsidy is just one that has upset the economy to almost unrecoverable situation. Purchasing power is at its lowest ebb. The palliatives, salary upgrade is sure not to be enough to mitigate the huge negative impact on the generality of NIGERIAns. Unfortunately the Subsidy is being paid now and the negative impact of earlier declaration can unfortunately not be reversed. If any policy of the Government is not bringing direct prosperity to the citizens, then the policy as good as useless. People should remain the sincere focus of any Government.
