I have a head canon on what else this song could mean: The boy is 19 and he spends his whole life questioning everything in his life and he wants to find the answer and in the song he mentions fire twice ‘When a fire starts in the hall how much time do you have until it spreads to the deck’ in the beginning and end of the song so maybe he was in a fire and he spent his whole life dissatisfied and he died in the fire cause at the end he says ‘times up’ Ps: I know that’s not the actual plot that’s why I said ‘Head-canon’
