I have had the completely opposite experience with Verizon. I have used them since 2011. All my issues: billing, changing service, tech support, all good. I never had an Indian. I don't know what to say. And I have told them exactly what I did before I called and they started from there. Even internationally, they've been great with me. That being said, I pissed myself when Anthony broke into an accent.

So I had to call Verizon again. We had a power outage for an hour and none of my devices connected once power was restored. I did the usual: unplugged/ plugged in the router, rebooted the system from the TV. It didn't work. I wasn't getting a light on the LAN or the global internet. I knew I had to reset the OTN, but I don't like monkeying with that without a tech on the line. In the olden days, they had you do a reset and then did something on their end. Anyhow, I called and this time I did get India. And I was so lucky, AJ was great. He listened, understood all the steps I went through before calling him. He had me send over a couple pics and then just jumped to resetting the OTN with me. He also said not to bother calling if it happens again, just reset the OTN. I don't know what to say. I have great luck with Verizon. I am not a paid spokesman. I do need to speak with a retention specialist. I have had the same router for 10 years and they want $200 to upgrade it.

I've had this exact experience. There was literally a birds nest inside the box on the utility line and they still wanted me to check my router. I'm like "I see sticks coming out of the box, just send over a technician"

I Remember back in the day when you got those recordings if you kept hitting star or pound eventually you would skip it and get to a live person but you can't even do that anymore.
