मैं वहीदा जी और सुचित्रा सेन का बहुत बडा फैन हूँ और वो मेरी समकालीन भी है पर मैंने विद्या बालन की फिल्में भी देखी और अभी कुछ दिन पहले शेरनी भी। और आज अनुपम खेर के कार्यक्रम में विद्या को देखा तो मुझे 1960 मे सुचित्रा सेन से अपनी पहली यादगार मीटिंग जो आसनसोल के निकट एक कोलमाइन मे किसी फिल्म की शूटिंग कर रही थी और मैंने तब तक देवदास देख ली थी और उन्होंने मुझे यह कहकर चुप करा दिया कि आप पारो या देवदास पर बात नहीं करेंगे मैं एक दम घबरा गया और उन्हें नमस्ते कह कर उठ पडा। विद्या मे मुझे एक जुनून दिखा जो बहुत कम कलाकारों में दिखाई देता है।ईश्वर इन्हें दीर्घायु प्रदान करें।
