Some stories will make you afraid of marriage. While marriages can be fun, it is also important to note THAT There's no such thing as a perfect marriage or relationship; each one is special. What makes one person happy might not make another person happy. But I've realized that there's always a way to solve problems. Five years ago, my wife and I were almost getting divorced because we had problems in our marriage, but we managed to sort things out. It was a difficult time, but we got through it.

I get why what you're saying is so important, and I honestly want to be happy too. I'm in a relationship, and even though we're apart, I can't imagine my life without her; my love for her is strong. I really want her to come back, and I'm fully dedicated to making that happen. We've tried different paths, like therapy, to fix things.

Of note for future stories, you don't need to say ".38 caliber." It is a bit redundant to state ".38" or ".22" and "caliber" in the same sentence. Listing a number as 38 caliber is sufficient.

Lol 😅 to me it seemed he had no intention of separating with his wife even if she was cheating & that's why he planned to let the guy threaten him with the gun or even get shot and injured by him so what ever his wife was doing with him would stop and the guy would go to jail & then hopefully his wife and him would be ok again and he also didn't question the emails or put any effort in trying to find out if she slept with that guy , he just seemed overly eager to play everything down that she did like he was aware of things and on her side ... 🤦🏼🙄😅 Lol

There are stories that can make you fear getting married. Even while getting married might be enjoyable, it's crucial to remember that every marriage and relationship is unique and that there is no such thing as a perfect one. It's possible that what makes one person happy won't make another happy. However, I've come to understand that issues can always be resolved. We had marital issues five years prior, and we were on the verge of divorcing, but we were able to work things out. Though challenging, we managed to get through it.

This is American culture. Spouses would party naked so that everyone can visually enjoy their bodies/physique. What I question by listening to this video is that if this is the culture, then why people divorce when infidelity happens? Shannon cheated but it was Dave (her husband) who took here there. Why this hypocrisy?
@JB-bb4su
@JB-bb4su 8 ай бұрын
From what I get from the story, the wife never actually cheated. She went to a private club that was supposed to be a safe environment where she could be a bit uninhibited, by walking around topless and enjoying everyone looking. But "looking" generally isn't cheating. If she was inviting liberties beyond just looking, that would be a different issue. Or actually going on a date with someone at the club. Which it sounds like didn't happen. Infidelity is the ultimate breach of trust, and the ultimate breach of a relationship. It's allowing another person to take liberties with your partner that's supposed to be exclusively between the two of you. You trust your partner with your vulnerability, with your emotional bond and affection, and grow to rely on that emotional bond yourself. For some people, intimacy in a relationship is a near-sacred thing. When your partner gives their body to someone else, it's a defilement of that sacredness. Intimacy is no longer something special shared by just you two, but is now just a carnal thing to do for meaningless pleasure. Divorce happens either when that trust cannot be repaired, or the betrayed person cannot get over the defilement of their intimate bond.

@@JB-bb4su In the permissive American culture, where personal freedom and indulgence are paramount, demands on the sanctity of marriage appear ludicrous. If personal freedom is paramount why make infidelity so sinful? The following short video should explain what feminists like Gloria Steinem and Naomi Wolf might appreciate about personal freedom vs. marital obligations. kzbin.info/www/bejne/gaWzp2p_es2KiKMfeature=shared (The narration is by Deepika Padukone, a famous Bollywood movie star from India.)
@JB-bb4su
@JB-bb4su 8 ай бұрын
@@kafirkumarkhan4061 I watched the video. Someone that buys into what that video is selling is not what many term "marriage material". There is a permissive aspect to American culture that does believe that marriage, infidelity, and monogamy in general is an archaic and outdated idea. It's been my observation that the people that indulge in that mindset eventually wind up miserable and lonely. American culture isn't homogenous. There is still a very strong section of America that believes in more conservative traditional values. That while freedoms may be very broad, there is a moral responsibility for personal restraint in exercising those freedoms. Marriage is the voluntary curtailing of some of those personal freedoms for the sake of enduring companionship and providing a stable environment to raise a family. Children don't respond well when the adults in their lives are constantly rotating in and out. They need stability. A hedonistic lifestyle isn't a stable one. It's a chaotic one. And yes, people have the freedom to indulge in those hedonistic choices. But they are unlikely to find enduring companionship in that lifestyle. Eventually their companions of the moment will move on to more interesting new encounters. And at some point, your lifestyle will affect your appeal for attracting your own new partners.
@kafirkumarkhan4061
@kafirkumarkhan4061 8 ай бұрын
@@JB-bb4su Thanks. I agree with you. But that population of American with strong moral values who reject the hedonistic lifestyle is vast shrinking. Very few subscribe to a marriage where sacrifice is principal and infidelity is hence not the norm. The problem is with immigrants who come to USA but from a more conservative background. I cannot ask my adult son to get married into the culture where I was born. My son was born here and hence he should date and marry someone from here in USA. But the problem is he might find a clash of cultural values with the average young female adults here. They may not agree with the conservative values in which he was raised. And hence the impatient wait to find someone with whom he can finally pair and get lucky in a matrimonial bond. Yes there are many young adults from our cultural background in USA who were born here. But their parents raised them to build professional careers and did not inculcate good social/moral values. These young female adults are basically “Americanized” but with the selfish mindset which harbors the “all unto me” syndrome. This is a problem and given what I watch around me, I sometimes very sorry for my son because he may not find a dating/marriage partner who is conservative enough. Marrying/dating into a family from Abrahamic faith, where religious conversion is a big possibility, is equally unacceptable to us. What has faith got to do with love/marriage?
