The fact that this song belongs to the final level of what many called the "evil" route on the original (and whose protagonist I happened to love even if I didn´t agree with everything) is both ironic (many don´t consider them heroes) yet also fitting, since you really felt you were fighting the entire world for your ideals. Just so you know, this song is from a spinoff title, specifically a spinoff to Fire Emblem Three Houses for the Switch, so if you do decide to start playing Fire Emblem (fantastic franchise, you won't regret it) then I definitely don't recommend this game in particular as your first one. This game is also of a completely different genre lol. But yeah, I highly recommend its "parent" game, Three Houses. Fantastic game with also fantastic music tracks just like this one.

Engage is actually a good place to start as it's VERY in-line with FE gameplay while even base Three Houses is not. It depends on if you want a mid plot but amazing gameplay or the reverse. Both are good games.

To then see what he became during Blood of the Eagle and Lion was downright heartbreaking. Yeah to say I was blindsided by Dimitri's turn is an understatement. I honestly thought Claude's route was going to be the darkest but somehow he's most honest, hopeful and cheesy (but I love cheese when it's sincere) of the four routes.

You should tried play each routes, also try recruit students/faculty/knights as much as possible. Its so much heartbreaking watching their demise moments, especially in CF routes. Azure Gleam was literally the perfect scenario for Hubert to reluctantly work with the kingdom. Would have been really cool to see him interact with characters he usually has zero screen time with. I suppose that would have led to a golden route and we can’t have that lol.

@@pearsemolloy9656 Honestly I feel that that they were trying to go for a golden route with Azure Gleam, having dimitri overcome his past, work with Claude, he finds out who committed the tradgy of duscar and kills Thales, but did'nt go all the way, which made it feel more incomplete then emotional, cus they were like. "Whoops things are going along to well, lets just screw up edelgard, hubert, and everything in the empire and not elaborate what happened to them" I am still salty about how they handle edelgard in that route, and this is coming from a DIMITRI FAN.

Hyrule Warriors felt like it was made by the hugest Zelda fans of all time, and Age of Calamity and Three Hopes were no different. From the soundtrack, to the characters, to the conversations and cutscenes, to the easter eggs, these games felt like they were made _by_ fans _for_ fans. Haven't played the original Fire Emblem Warriors, but if they were to make another one for the Switch 2, I'd play the heck out of it. Even if it were based on Engage, I guess...

This was the best map for me. We finally get to Garreg Mach and I had Seteth and Flayn reclaiming Garreg Mach with everyone. It was the last stand for the Empire and we all charged in further and further until we swarmed Gregoire and killed him together. Seeing the enemy make their last stand and getting absolutely destroyed by everyone made this the most triumphant 3 Hopes chapter ever.

I feel like Edelgard and Dimitri should have swapped final boss music. In SB you are about to put an end to the two groups terrorizing fodlan. In AG you are forced to fight an amnesiac mind controlled Edelgard. Funeral of flowers sad tone more fits AG and apex of the world's epic orchestral tone fits the showdown between you, the church of serios, and TWSITD. Huge mistake on the developers part mixing up the two.

Scarlet Blaze's final map was awful, I'm there hunting down characters who have done literally nothing to me, helping that rat Varley escape justice once again, and the final boss arena is so cramped I can barely even see what's going on. AG's final map felt way more cathartic imo.

All in all, it was alright. But the characters, supports, and music were what got me to finish three hopes because that is still fantastic
